We bought into DVC on our last trip and stayed the last 3 days at OKW. We enjoyed OKW and liked the quiet "removed" feeling, but knew we would really love BWV (our home resort) and being in the middle of it all. We immediately discovered the long walk from the elevators (even though we requested to be closer, rm 3111), but it wasn't that big of deal, mostly because we could see the Illuminations fireworks from our room and we just didn't mind. We were on the 3rd floor with a standard view and overlooked the pond with the water fountain. The studio was perfect for our family of 3. I like being able to fold up the couch and have a place to relax as opposed to the bed. We loved the Luna pool and spent nearly afternoon there. We never ate at any of the BW restaurants except to pick up sandwiches and desserts from the BW Bakery and hot dogs from one of the stands. The nightlife entertainment was great. We saw a belly dancer, juggler, and trick roper. It was wonderful!! Bus service to AK & MK was perfect. The walk to Epcot was 5 minutes from our room to the gate. We did not try the walking path to MGM and many times we would get off the boat or bus at the Swan and walk back to BW from there. No complaints...it was a fabulous trip.
