Hi Everyone,

Just got back from 6 nights in a 2br in building 23. Absolutely loved this location. Went to all the parks, little of no wait. Longest wait was for the Rapids ride at AK, 25 minutes. Did e-night on Tuesday and it was great. Rode Splash Mtn. 4 times in a row, twice didn't even unload. Olivia's was great, Park Fare was crowded and Boma's is my new favorite. Saw the Braves play in the rain last Sunday and then on Friday at the main pool, saw Braves pitcher Mike Hampton sitting in the hot tub. After a while, finally walked up to him and he talked to my ds6 for a few minutes.

All in all it was a great trip.

My DH is drooling with envy that you met Mike Hampton in the OKW hot tub! We stayed in building 23, too, when we were there last summer, and it's our favorite location to be in, better than 62,63,64 which used to be our favorites. We also fell in love with Boma's last summer--did you try the pumpkin soup? It was to die for!! We are going down in three weeks, and I'm already packed !!:p I'm glad you had a nice trip, even with the rain, and your report psyched me up even more than I already am!:Pinkbounc

Glad you had a good time at OKW. We stayed in building 26 during Presidents week and loved it also.
Did you ask Mike Hampton if he was a DVC member or if he was "pool hopping".;)

Were you able to control your AC in Bldg. 23? I need to be able to do that and someone said that Bldg. 26 already has the new thermostats that you can't set. Thanks for the info!:)

Hey KFields1,

You can set the thermostat on whatever you want. Room 2331 can get quite cold if you want it to.

Have a great trip.
