Just back from OKW (with some pictures)

Had a nice trip to WDW and OKW last week. Had a nice Studio right across the bridge behind the bus stop. No problems at all with the Studio. It was hot though and the parks seemed much more crowded than I remember the last time we went in October. Had the Magic Bands and FP+ because we spent our first night at Art of Animation. The jury is still out on FP+ as far as I'm concerned. Yes, it was nice to not have to race at RD to get that Soarin or TSM FP, but the fact you were forced into getting 3 FP+'s at the same park is a definite problem. Several times we had FP's not used because of no way to delete them. MDE seemed to force you to get 3 even if you only wanted 1 (which occurred yesterday). We did enjoy a lot of great food and drink at F&W. In fact, that is were we ate many of our meals. But overall, in spite of the crowds and heat, we did have a good trip. Having said that, we are going to skip going to WDW next year and plan to use some of our points to take a Disney Magic cruise (using points for one person and cash for the second). No lectures please on this not being a good use of points. Frankly, we are
"Disneyed" out. We've been three times in the last year and that is enough Disney for even me for a while. Next WDW trip will hopefully be May 2015, when we hope to take a new grandchild with us.

Your pictures are lovely!! I do have a question, what did you think about the AoA when you stayed there one night? Also are there any dining options you would recommend going to at that location?

I love seeing your pictures! Even though I was at WDW for a week, I never went into MK, and your pictures reminded me how much I love their Harvest, Halloween decorations! DH says we'll do better next year.

I do enjoy the food court offerings at A O A did you?

Believe it or not, but we've tolerated each other for 41 years now. We just don't talk to each other during basketball season .

Thanks so much for sharing your album. I'm always glad to see I'm not the only one who takes pictures of signs! It was interesting to see the large planting beds in fall-- very different plants than I'm used to seeing in summer or January.

I have a question about a couple of your pictures. About 3/4 down there is a picture of hot air balloons in a field and the picture next to it is a spiral of some sort. Beautiful but are these at Disney?

That was a mistake and I need to remove it. That was a wallpaper file I captured that got merged in with my trip pictures somehow. Thanks for letting me know.
