We were able to book Brunch, Dinner, and Afternoon Tea at Palo. At the beginning of our cruise we received written invitations in our Fish mail holder for each of the meals, as reminders.
We went to Brunch first, on the morning of our second sea day. We had a great server named Nikola from Serbia. We liked him so much that we asked if he would be working there on the night that we were coming back for dinner. He said that he was, and when we left he said "See you Tuesday night!" and when we checked in for dinner, there he was waiting for us. LOL
He also served us a few days later during Afternoon Tea.
Palo Brunch was awesome as usual and is now officially my favorite meal there.
There was a great variety of foods, we weren't rushed, Nicola explained each of the tables, and the hot breakfast and hot lunch items. $20 per person, plus we tipped.
Dinner was good but I really like the more relaxed feel at brunch VS at dinner. I had the filet and it was very good. Not the best filet I've ever had, but still good. All of the food was tasty. The chocolate souffle' was as good as ever!

$20 per person charge (and we tipped on top of that). We went to dinner on the night of our
Castaway Cay night. This was a good choice, except for the fact that I chose 7pm Palo, not realizing that this would make us miss the presentation in the Walt Disney Theater that night all about Walt Disney. I would've liked to have seen that, but when I booked this, I had no idea what shows would be that night.
Afternoon tea was very nice. Only a few tables had people dining at them. I know that they never fill up the restaurant during tea, but this time it was fairy empty in there. I don't know if it's due to less people wanting to do tea, or if they are limiting how many tables they seat. There was a $10 per person charge, and we tipped too. We did the tea on the second to last day of our cruise, which was a sea day. This worked out well for us as it didn't interfere with anything else that we wanted to do that day.
On our last day we received a hand-written Thank You note from Nicola. That was a nice touch.
