Just back from Hard Rock

Hi...stayed at Hard Rock for 2 nights...always stayed at Portofino before....I liked it...only that alarm that went off at 2:00 am and would not shut off..it was terrible...i know I have read about this before...they could not get it shut off...took about 15 minutes...then about 10 minutes later did it again...took another 15 minutes to shut off ...was afraid to go back to sleep...does any body know why this happens...it was a very loud..alarm and then said there is an emergency in the hotel...stand by for instructions..we were givin no explaination...amy

That happened to us twice a couple years ago. Can't believe they haven't fixed it yet.

Unfortunately the fire alarm goes off at the Hard Rock all of the time. I guess it's some bratty kids way of having fun. I wish I knew where their parents were when they pulled this stunt. This has happened to us 3 or 4 times. One of the last times we were there we got stuck staying next to a room that had a bunch of teenagers in it. They thought knocking on people's doors in the middle of the night and running away was fun. I was waiting for him to knock on my door again so I could clock him one but he never came back. Incredible!
