Well we just got back from FW and are back to normal now. We stayed in the 300 loop. I do have to say that the campground over all was GREAT but our lot was very tight!!!
We had to put the picnic table all the way to the back of the lot just to get our 5th wheel in the lot. I'm just glad DH was doing the driving and not me. I was surprised that there was so little privacy, I thought there would be more brush, trees, etc between each campsite. One other thing, I will never stay on a pet loop again, we had a couple next door to us that tied their dog to the tree out back and every time it heard us walk around in our trailer it started to bark, but I guess you kind of get use to it after awhile.
We rented a golf cart from the bike barn (they had plenty) and rode around the campground, very pretty settings. The 1400 loop seems to have bigger and more open lots, if we go back that will be the loop we request! (well we did request it this time, but work is being done on the bath house).
The campfire program was very good -- Sunny was the sing-a-long leader and she was GREAT! The snack wagon was there and the smores kit was the best value priced item in disney.
The park hours were short but that worked for us, DS had homework and was dead to the world by around 8:30 most nights. We did try to get to the parks early and stay as long as we could -- just wanted to let everyone know during the week Sun - Thurs there were no lines. There were rides that if you wanted to go again you did not have to get off and go around! Fri & Sat the parks seemed to be very busy, but you can deal with that when you've had the parks to yourself most of the week.
The day time temps ran from 70 - 80 most of the time, some nights were a little cool but not cold! We left FW it was 70 when we got up at around 7:30am, and when we got up the next day in SC it was 39 at 7:30am -- burrrrrrrr!
So we are back home wishing we were still there in that 70-80 degree temp. Planning our next trip for 2003 (we are kind of hooked now). I will hopefully do a trip report this weekend.
