Just Back from First Trip Home to BCV

Just returned yesterday from our 6 nt stay at BCV. We took our 5 kids (youngest is still considered an infant) and we also took my parents who have never been to Disney!! So, we actually had 9 in a 2 BR. We were totally thrilled w/ our accomodations. We loved having the kitchen for breakfast & latenite snacks. I think there were only two things I was sad about. First, I booked this right when we bought last March & requested an Epcot view. We were on the 5th floor, but had a pool view. Oh, well. Second, I kept reading about people saying "Welcome Home" when you arrived. Geez, I didn't hear that?? Oh, well, it was on our tv everytime I turned it on

The absolute best part was we realized our decision to buy into DVC was a great one! I don't know if we would have ever been able to enjoy a vacation with my parents at Disney otherwise. Now, they're hooked & excited to go again. I get teary all over again thinking of the memories we made on this trip. Thanks for reading--Happy New Year!!

I am so glad you had a great family trip. We also have dvc with my parents, who live 800 miles away from us. DVC time is family time. We are meeting them at OKW in March.

The new BCV's are beautiful, aren't they? We had a pool view as well but I had requested such. The whole area is lovely. I hope you'll get your Epcot view on your NEXT trip!

We were at BC from 12/24 to 1/3, and it was lovely! Didn't you love the decorations? It was magical, we want to go back next year! Our only complaint was over New Year's--too many drunks, one group even assaulted one of the CM's. Next year we'd go home before 1/3 to avoid such unpleasantness.
