We are just back from our first stay at Pop.. actually it was our first trip to Disney. We had a great time. We were in the 90's section... it was a bit far from everything but we were on the end and it was so quite... we didn't hear a thing... no toilets flushing, no late night swimmer's... we were very happy. I was a little worried at first after reading some threads about all the noise, smokers etc but we didn't encounter any of that. We were very pleased with the price and when we go back in the future we plan to stay there.

:thumbsup2 So happy to hear you had a great time. We've been to WDW many times, but we're stay at Pop for the first time this Dec.

We also just returned from our first stay at POP. The whole family loved it. We were in the 50's section, bldg. 2, 2nd floor. Our room faced the lake and upcoming addition to POP. We did not mind the short walk to busses, etc. We were on the back side of the building so did not hear the pool. All was great. Will stay there again.

We stayed in 50's, bulding 1 a few years ago and it was our best stay ever at Pop. Buildings 1 and 2 are great locations. Unfortunately, our last stay we were stuck way back in the 80's and we did not enjoy it nearly as much.

We stay at pop everytime we go, glad to hear you had a great time. We have stayed in the 60's and 70's and liked both areas. This december we have requested the 70's again!

Our upcoming trip will be our first at Pop (we got a bit spoiled at SSR this year). I am glad to see some positive comments. The values seem to get a bad rep often. I was torn between All Star Movies and Pop Century, I loved the decor of both. In the end we chose Pop, simply because it was newer and did not share buses. I am hoping we made the right choice!

Glad you had a great time! We also just came back from our first Pop stay at the beginning of this month. We had never stayed at a value before, and we were really impressed with Pop! We stayed in the 50's section, facing the pool. Even though we were really close to the bowling pin pool, noise was never an issue. I would definitely stay in that section again.

Did you find the beds were of decent quality? Earlier today, I read that one of the All Stars had horribly hard beds, then someone updated them saying they were upgraded to pillow tops. What did you think about the beds at Pop?

Glad you had a great trip!! We love POP, it's our favorite resort. Although, I must say that I find it tremendously humorous that you loved the 90's. We had to stay there our 1st night of our trip in July 07. We felt like it took forever to get anywhere from the 90's . Funny how different everyone views things. :rolleyes1
