I drove to the ER at Celebration Hospital from BCV and the drive was less than 15 min.Originally posted by lenshanem
I'm sorry you got sick, too. Gald you were abel to join in on the fun after a couple days. Do you mind me asking how long the wait was to been seen at the ER?
My brother wnet with us four years ago and got sick during our trip. My dad took him to some immediate care place and they were literally gone all day.
How far is the drive to the Celebration ER? Is this the closest ER?
I'm curious as my daughter has a life threatening food allergy plus has developed pretty bad asthma. I never thought until now to even ask this. Last trip she broke out in hives at AKL Boma breakfast even after the chef walked us through the buffet. I'm sure it was a cross contamination issue (buffets scare me) but luckily it was mild enough that Benadryl did the trick and no need for the EpiPen. Wdw has always been very good about allergies, thsi was a first for us.
Has anyoen been taken by ambulance whiel on property? I wonder how long it woudl take to get help and get to the ER???
I got very lucky and was in and out of the ER after being seen by the triage nurse, the doctor, the respiratory therapist, getting a nebulizer treatment, and getting 6 RXs in 55 minutes! I was really impressed with how efficient and professional their ER operated. I work for a very large hospital system and I could not help but compare Celebration's ER to ours and unfortunately our ER, although very good, falls short compared to the treatment I received at Celebration's ER.
