Just back from CSR

We loved CSR! We have just come back from a split stay at CSR and GF. We expected a huge resort with loads of walking - we were disappointed, we used to walk around the lake each day for the fun of it. Maybe it's because we do a lot of walking but it really wasn't as bad as I originally believed. Loved the Maya Grill and the Pepper Market, and Franciscos was brilliant. The buses were always on time, never full. Hardly noticed any noise, except one morning when a child was running up and down the walkway outside our room - we experienced more noise at our stay at the GF! The CMs were lovely, we have since written to Disney saying how wonderful this resort was and how the GF CMs could learn a thing or two from those at CSR (but that's another story). CSR is brilliant, thank you to everyone who recommended it - and we will be returning next December.

Glad you had such a great time! We stayed at CSR for the first time this past November. Absolutely LOVED it! We are pretty bummed out that they are all booked up for our upcoming trip in May!

We love CSR too but couldn't get it for January! Had to "settle" for WL.

Same here. I couldn't get CSR either in January and had to settle on the Beach Club Villas. Now I've stayed at the Beach Club before and like it but, I'm truly going to miss Coronado Springs.

I was nervous about people saying that it was so big & alot of walking for the kids. And I had hear some bad things about the food court (I thought they looked great in pictures I've seen). Thankyou so much for posting, I'm feeling overly excited now!!

I am also baffled about all the negative comments about the Pepper Market. I thought the food was very good (better than I expected at a food court). I know people don't like the CM's getting their drinks and the extra charge and that is understandable. But it also makes for a more peaceful environment without so much running around by people to get drinks, etc.
