Just back from CSR

Thanks for posting! We will be staying at CSR for the first time for a weekend in January, and we're really looking forward to trying this resort. The photos I've seen on the board are just lovely.

I can't believe I'm asking this question after staying onsite about 35 times, but how do you request a room?? Do you just request it at check-in or is there a way to request it ahead of time? Thanks.

thanks for sharing! CSR is such an amazing resort. My family would have a really hard time staying anywhere else.

Only 2 more sleeps for me!! (well, technically 2, but we all know it's hard to sleep the night before ;) )

Every time I read a post about CSR I am so glad we booked there. We were going for 4 days in Feb so it was a no brainer for all the extras of rebooking for the free days. This is our first trip to WDW. I have 2 DS one 5 and the other 3. 5 year old is high functioning autistic. I am one pumped up dad getting to take his boys to WDW!!!!:cool1:
Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks to all for all the great info!

Harry

Buzz, I am going to be at CSR 2-14-2-21 are you going to be there then? I want you to know I booked here because of all of the wonderful things on your website the pics and the great info. It looks wonderful. We are going for our 20th anniversary. And first time with no kids they are working and such so off we go!! I can't wait to explore this resort. Trying to decide which building to request, was thinking the cabanas sound nice. I did have them notate on our ressie that it is our anniversary. :cool1: It can't come fast enough!!:cool1: Deb

We spent our 25th anniversary at CSR last month--and had a PERFECT trip. We have never stayed Cabanas and that is the section that is being rehabbed first. We always do Casitas 4 or 5--close to the quiet pool, fitness center/spa. It is a five minute walk to the main building and about eight minutes to the Dig Site.

KatMark congrats on your 25th!! Maybe I should rethink what buildings we should stay in? I thought the cabanas would be nice, I like the idea of the beach theme. But the casitas sound nice as well. Near the quiet pool. I guess I will have to think about that some more.

JamesLyn thanks for your help as well. Hope to see you in Feb.

Thanks for sharing, my family also loves CSR! Its a wonderful resort, I always enjoy seeing reviews that reflect my own great stay there.

Thanks again for posting.:)

CSR wasn't available for my upcoming Anniversary stay in January. I'm assuming it's due to less rooms being available during the rehab. I was disappointed because I loved it so much during my October visit.

Staying at CBR this time...(been there once before) but I'll miss CSR..:sad2:

Thats cool maybe we will see each other!! Like I said I booked this resort due to all of the wonderful pics and info you have on your site, it does look gorgous. I know we have a king bed with water view, thats what they had left, and thats ok with me, she did notate our anniversary. I still am trying to decide which area to request. Thanks for the good wishes. I have been a member of this site for a very long time, but hardly post, but thats another story! I am on here everyday though checking all the info and have spent so much time at your site! Maybe as the time gets closer we could make plans to meet each other? Deb :yay:
