We had a wonderful trip! We got home on Sunday after 6 nights at CSR. We had requested Cabanas 9A or 9B and we got 9B. I didn't request the lagoon view so we were facing the parking lot, but we had a great room. It was right on the far end of the building, top floor, room 9220. It was a corner room so we had windows on 2 sides and it felt like the room was larger. Right around the corner and down the stairs was the quiet pool and laundry. We just walked across the parking lot to Bus Stop #4. Ideal location for us!

The room was immaculate and we had good "mousekeeping" service the whole trip. They left extra soaps, shampoos and conditioners most days. Being on the very end, we did return to our room for rest twice around 1:30-2:00 and the room had not been cleaned yet. We told them we'd be gone by 5:00 and they came back to clean it then.

We ate at Pepper Market on our last night and the food was good. I had a chicken quesadilla and my husband had a cheeseburger. Our toddler inhaled his chicken strips so they must have been good! Our 5-yo did not care for his cheese pizza, however.

Crowds at the parks fluctuated considerably. The EMH parks were crowded, but we braved the Studios on 9/3 to get a last chance to ride Rock-N-Roller Coaster before it closed. :woohoo: At times, we walked onto Splash Mountain at 10:30 AM with NO wait, Space Mountain at 11:00 with NO wait. But we did notice waits of up to 50 minutes at Soarin' (which was amazing!) and Test Track on our first day at Epcot.

I can't copy and paste my photos from Snapfish for you for some reason. :confused3 I would love to share my Coronado Springs at dusk picture - I think it's pretty good, if I do say so myself! :flower3:

Our trip was such a success and we enjoyed the free dining so much that my husband agreed to let me book the Bounceback special! :cool1: Since our seasonal passes activated on 9/3, we're going back 8/30-9/3 next year to get 2 years' trips out of them!

Thanks for the tips, DIS-ers! My son got candy from the "candy lady" at Japan, he did the Junior Chef program at The Land and we saw some fun things thanks to your expertise! :disrocks:

Sounds like you had a great trip! Thanks for sharing!

thanks for the review. My hubby and I are staying at CSR for the first time 11/30-12/5 and I am so excited. I requested Cabana 9B as well.

Thanks for the info, my family will be arriving on Oct 2 and I requested Cabana B, I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. Thanks again!

Welcome back!
We noticed that the pizza that comes with the kids meal is not as good as the pizza you get in the regular pizza section. Not sure if it the same pizza, only fresher in the regular section or if it is a different pizza altogether in the kids section, but we DID notice a difference. We liked the fresh pizza!

Glad you had a good trip and liked the CSR. We were there last week from September 1 - 9 and we loved it...as always. We also got extra soaps, etc. and the mousekeeping was excellent.

Thanks for posting your review - DW and I will be staying at CSR 11/25 to 11/27 - I also requested Cabanas 9A or 9B...hmmm wonder if we've all been reading the same book...lol

Glad to hear the corner rooms have a double window! Did you like the interior of your room?

What is the Junior Chef program at the Land?

Much thanks!:daisy:

Thanks everyone! We stayed at CSR before, in 2003, in Cabanas 9A so we knew we liked that area. Not all of the end rooms have two windows, but ours did because it was the far end of the complex. :)

The interior was nice, felt larger than I remembered. The new pillow-top beds are awesome! We all slept great.

I really wish I could post a couple of pictures to share. I read the FAQ on the Tech Support board but when I tried to log into the DIS photo sharing site, it wouldn't accept my user/pw. ??? When I tried to re-register with the same user/pw it said I was already in the system.

For those of you with upcoming trips - have a great time! It's a beautiful resort! My older son loved it, didn't want to come home, and wants us to get the same exact room on our next trip!

ETA: Junior Chef program is a cookie-baking session for kids. They got to mix up Nestle Tollhouse cookies, and each got two to take along. It's downstairs, in the corner.
