Checked in Sat. Nov. 19th. Didn't get much sleep due to traffic noise from the interstate even with the A/C on.
Out of a 5 night stay our key wouldn't work two times, both at night after a long day at the parks. Had to go to the desk and get in "fixed".
In the continental breakfast area, the hostess kept walking people through on her way to seat them. This area is to the side of the entrance so I couldn't figure why she kept dragging more people through an already congested area.
The room was clean, nothing special, but for the price it was fine.
The major problem was the traffic noise, oh and it has outside corridors so there was some talking and foot traffic noise late at night.
I wouldn't recomend this hotel unless you want cheap price and can sleep through anything.
The park lines at Universal on Sun. were very light but by Tues. at Disney they were terrible. Much worse than last year.

I will be staying there in a couple of days -just for one night. How was the breakfast, was the food OK? Was there a good variety on the free buffet?

My other concern is cleanliness you said the room was clean, was there any problems with it?

Thank you for your report.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn 3 years ago and would recommend asking for a car park side room - we did not hear the traffic that side! Also you can see the epcot fireworks in the distance if you have a top floor room!

I do not recommend the food at this hotel - breakfast is ok - but you will be better off going to a Ponderosa or Golden Coral - good location though! We had dinner once which has to be the most disgusting food we have ever had and had to pay for!

Our room was standard and was clean - as we were only there to sleep, not a problem and it was very cheap! :flower:

The free breakfast is easy to locate and has cereal, oatmeal, toast with butter and jelly, mini muffins, mini powdered doughnuts and coffee and juice.

Thanks, we're doing a night there and given the mixed reviews wondered which experience we'd have - "I wouldn't let my dog stay there" or "its ok"......

we stayed there in June and will be staying there for 1 night in Dec. I stayed on the I-4 side back in June and didn't fine a problem with the noise,

The food was OK, of course you can't go wrong with cereal and toast.... :rotfl2:

I have got to stop reading the reviews of this place - they're stressing me out!! :rotfl2: I read "it was great" and feel OK about it, then someone chimes in w/ "it was awful!" :rotfl: Stress, stress, stress, I tell ya!

I'm only staying one night (12/14) and am only paying $35.96 plus tax, so as long as it's clean and comfortable, I'm fine (It'll be OK, it'll be OK, ...).

For one night and that rate I really wouldn't worry. It should be fine.

We've stayed there a few times for a night or two in the past and found it ok for the cheap rates. I've always requested the parking lot side and never had a problem with road noise.

There was a continental breakfast and a plain breakfast buffet but they did have Mickey Waffle Makers set up which I liked to do, included in the buffet price.

The last time we stayed there, over a year ago, we arrived earlier than in the past and they wouldn't let us have our room until the 3pm check-in time. I'm not sure if they always keep to this policy. There was a couple who had been waiting since noon, didn't have a car and there is nowhere secure to store luggage.

I am back -I stayed 1 night on Nov 28th. The worst travel day. Our plane was delayed like most of the others so we didn't get in until 11:30 PM. It was well after midnight when we reached the hotel. Check in was a little slow. But we were exhausted so time seemed to drag. The woman checking us in told us breakfast was until 10 but also something about 9:30. Just wanted to get to bed so didn't listen well enough. Turns out the free breakfast ends at 9:30 -we got there at 9:40. We chose to go to Perkins instead of paying there. The rooms were very basic but they were clean. They definately met our needs of 1 nights cheap room. I would go there again for the cheap rate $45 but I would not pay much more.

I just got back from 2 nights at the LBV Comfort Inn (first night and last night). I requested a quiet room both nights and got the parking lot view which was exactly what I wanted. The rooms were fine, clean and quiet. Continental brkfst buffet was good for the coffee, toast and donuts. I'm not much of a cereal eater. They also had fruit cocktail and fresh orange wedges. Got it for $39/night from a travelzoo deal.

That pretty much also describes our experience last week

I just stayed there for one night, 12/14. I thought it was perfectly fine. Clean, quiet enough (some people walking by were kinda noisy), nothing fancy. They have a guard shack you stop at entering the property. I got a parking lot view w/o asking (forgot about it until the next morning actually!). I stayed in room 1225, which is in the building right next to the office. My sis went down to the free continental breakfast; she said it was OK. I was tired and not hungry, so I didn't go (had went to urgent care the day before for a bad sinus infection and was going on about 2 hrs sleep per night for the previous week!).

We paid $35.96 plus taxes. I had a $49.95 ressie through Choice Hotels, and did the Best Rate matching using the TravelZoo special that was going on at the time. They gave me that price less the 10%. For that price it was fine. I wouldn't pay more than say $60 in peak season for it, though.
