Just back from Cedar Pt

Went on our annual Cedar Pt Halloweekend camping trip. Had a great time as usual. It was REALLY windy and a bit chilly on Friday night but Saturday was just PERFECT!!!

I am not much of a ride person....the Gemini is about it for me!!

Went with 2 other couples w/2 kids each. The new ride (top trhill dragster) was shut down on and off all day. When it was open the line was about 2 hours.

The rest of my party (excluding the young kids) went on the Millineum....their favorite ride and only waited about 15 minutes. That was closed on and off too.

As a matter of fact, now I think about it there were alot of rides that were shutting down on and off throughout the day....and the weather was perfect and no wind on Saturday too. Some that I can remember off the top of my head were.....the blue car on the Gemini never ran all day, the swings, the one water ride, corkscrew.

DD Morgan (10) rode the Magnum for the first time and LOVED it!! I was surprised. She was tall enough last year but too chicken.

All in all, though, the rides were pretty short...except, of course for the new ride.

Had a great time and can't wait for next year!!!

Sounds like a great trip! I haven't been to Cedar Point in years & boy do I miss it. I grew up in Toledo & used to go every summer (at least once). Once our kids are older I hope to start heading up there at least bi-annually.

it is a great time. We have always went every year but stopped when the kids were really small. We used to stay at the Breakers hotel before we were married. We would get a room and there would be like 12-15 people in it...we had a blast.

For the last 5 years we have camped in the campground there...we always have the best time.
