We're just back from a Mon-Fri stay at BWV (left just before Charlie hit actually). It was me, my dh and our nine year old. We stayed a couple of nights at Sheraton Safari and a couple of nights at Coronado before checking into BWV.

Room - We had a studio - 4054. The room was in perfect shape with literally nothing wrong. 4054 overlooks the clown pool but has a wierd balcony. The railing is solid and pretty high so for my nine year old to see she had to stand up on a chair which made me slightly nervous. Still, it was a nice view and in addition to the pool we looked right at MGM.

Transportation - We had no problems at all other than one time and many times noticed a BW employee at the bus stop taking notes. We did share with the Swan Dolphin pretty much all the time but I think only once did they also stop at the Beach Club. The one time we had an issue was closing on Tuesday at the MK. Every resort had problems but we waited almost 45 minutes. Boat transportation to MGM and Epcot was wonderful.

Resort in general - We liked it a lot although I think that OKW suits us better. Our little one did several crafts at the Community Hall and the staff was nice. She's mildly autistic so we always worry about things but she had a really great time.

Dining - With so many good places to eat we can't believe we didn't eat anywhere on the Boardwalk but we didn't.

We liked the Boardwalk and I'm sure we'll be back :D

Glad you enjoyed your stay at the BWV. And glad you made it out of there before the storm hit.

It sounds from the posters here like the bus situation at BWV has been dramatically improved from past years. We found the exact same good service during our stay last month. And the same thing with sharing with S&D but not BC/YC for the most part.

I was also impressed by the kid's activities/crafts at BWV community hall.

I can't believe you didn't take advantage of the BW restaurants!! That's definitely something to look forward to on your next trip.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing!! Glad you had a good trip & that you got out before the storm hit.

I had the same type of room (maybe even the same room) at BWV. I guess the solid railing is aesthetically pleasing when looking up at the building, but it sure is disappointing to have a view that you can't see when sitting down. I only had the room overnight so it wasn't such a big deal. At check-out the girl mentioned "Oh, did you like the view?" and I had to laugh.....I think she honestly wasn't aware of how the railing completely blocked the great view.

Thanks for taking the time to tell about your trip -- glad it was a good one and that you missed out on Charley.
