Just got back this afternoon - some observations. Studio was great, although some of the fabric furnishings on chairs, etc. could use a good cleaning or reupholstering. Our unit was on the first floor, extremely quiet, until last night. We were in a lock-off next to the one-bedroom unit. Never heard the previous guests. Last night, my husband had to call 3 times to Guest Services to complain about the "new" people. From the time we got back from Epcot - 10:45pm until 12:40am, there was loud music, crying, screaming kids, kids jumping off of the couch, loud TV shows, people singing, Grandma yelling at the grandchildren, "Don't you just love, love, love this room!!! a hundred times over. My husband and I thought we were in the twilight zone. These people thought it was 2:00 in the afternoon!! Finally the hotel manager on the third go-around promised he'd send Security again!! Silence 15 minutes later - Talk about clueless. Didn't realize the walls were so paper thin!! Used the Ladies' room off the lobby at Boardwalk, and was shocked at the stall door - what a wreck. Actual gouges and broken slats on the doors. Chipped paint, dirty wallpaper - definately needs some serious attention.
Saw the new Saratoga Springs units - beautiful!! Would love to stay there on our points next time. And they have a wonderful "food court" that's a little more upscale with gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, etc.. beer, wine selections. Very nice.
All in all, a great time at our "home away from home", but more timely maintenance needs to be done.
