Just back from BLT

We just got back from split stay VWL and BLT first DVC trip BLT is our home resort. Loved BLT. I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. To watch wishes in my slippers with a glass of wine from my balcony wonderful. We stayed in the studio and it was so small. But loved being able to walk to MK and easy trip to Epcot. Kids loved it. We said our next trip would be AKL to try it out. But I went and booked BLT at my 11 month window last night a 1 bedroom this time. I know AKL would be less points but we found when the park got too crowded we didn't mind walking back to hotel and returning back to park later to do rides. Funny thing kids liked the pool better than poly pool.

We loved BLT, stayed in a 1 Bedroom, Dh and I it was the best.

Thanks for your post! We are staying at BLT this summer. Originally we didn't think we'd like it much except the location, but we're hearing lots of good things. Glad you had a good trip!

great view watching wishes from your room would be great, so when it's over there is no mad dash for the exit. It was so bad last time that we watched it from the parking lot. Just too many people my nephew was freaking out with the amount of people on top of us.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip so much! We'll be at BLT soon, 8 of us in a 2 bedroom dedicated. Can't wait to try out this new resort! The original reservation was for a 2 bedroom/1 studio at VWL....the extra costs of BLT caused us to go with just the 2 bedroom, we think it will be worth it to try it out and see if we want to buy into it, too.

Thanks for posting the picture. What floor was that?

6th floor. You can't beat the location kids are 10 and 6 the Christmas crowds were ok in am then crazy early pm so we could walk back to room or head to epcot. Fireworks from lounge were beautiful only about 15-20 people, the studio was small not much room for luggage, but I think while kids are still little and mk and epcot are the parks we go to most you could not ask for a better location. So glad this is our home resort.

I'm glad you loved it. It really is spectacular in person, isn't it? DH really didn't want any more points anywhere, but after our trip in Dec., he was blown away and said I was right, and even gave me permission to tell everyone that. Ha, ha! So glad I was able to talk him into it.
