Stayed at BCV 10/1 to 10/8 in room 412. Room was in great shape, and got checked in early. The room is real close to the elevators and laundry room. It has a great view overlooking the DVC pool. After spending the previous week in a 2 BR at OKW, it was tough getting used to a studio.

I didn't realize how close the villas were to the international gateway for EPCOT. On what might have otherwise been early nights, I strolled over to watch the fireworks. It's kind of neat to stroll over untethered by backpacks, water bottles, etc. that would normally carry to the parks for a day. Instead, I casually strolled along, sampling the the delicacies offered due to the food and wine festival. Since it would not be a "one time only" shot at seeing the fireworks, comfort over-road the necessity to get a good viewing spot. HOW RELAXING!!!!!!!!!! And I did it 3 times.

The kids loved SAB, eating a "kitchen sink", and the clam bake buffet in the lobby. But their biggest thrill was seeing all the aquatic life in the channel, as we walked across the bride to our car. Initially they were excited about seeing all the fish and big turtles. Then, on our 3rd day, up popped a 5-6 foot gator.

We had a great stay. Although I relish the bigger rooms and close parking at my home resort, I can see why everyone raves about BCV. It's top notch.

Yet another good report on BCV.:teeth:

What time did you check in?

I bet it was hard to move from a 2BR to a studio!

Sounds like you had a great time! I love that stroll back from Illuminations too! Thank you for posting!:)

Checked in at 12:30. The CM said it was the first room that had come available. As usual, I'll rather be lucky than good.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing!!

Glad you enjoyed it! No better place to stay for Illuminations fans!

Sounds like somebody had a little too much to drink at their wedding reception. (Sorry, just couldn't resist. )

That proximity to Epcot perk is exactly why I love that area so much - well, just ONE of the reasons why..........

Such a treat. Glad you loved it.

Glad you had a great time.

I love the fact you can stroll to EPCOT any time of day or nite, also enjoy the walk or ferry to MGM

Did you know that there is a gator at MK. Saw it in August, name of Buford. was swimming in the canal by tom's island. CM said his job was to "watch him"

He looked alot bigger then the guy at BC.

Stayed at your home resort (OKW) in August, fell in love with it

Only at Disney, can you visit in close proximity with a gator in the wild (not like a zoo), and still feel safe (relatively).
