We spent last week at ASMusic. We loved the resort ecept for the very large group of "15" year old girls from Brazil. They were rude and left a mess in the food court. I wish Disney would spread them around all the values instead or putting them all in one place. The CM were great, the room, pool, food court were great. My grandsons enjoyed the pool activities. But I can't say I would stay there again because of the groups. There were also band, cheerleaders and dancers but at least they were not rude.

OMG!

We had the same experience last year at ASMo with the Brazilians. They'd walk shoulder to shoulder everywhere and expect everyone to move. After a couple days I got sick of it and refused to move and they ran into me and they almost fell over. So great. This business needs to be stopped!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have some friends who were at POFQ last week, and said there were VERY rude cheerleaders there, too.

I've never had issues with groups of any kind hogging walkways and running me over, but I'm 6 foot 3 and 225 pounds. :)

I've been behind a few slow walking groups but I excuse my way through. My deep booming voice never fails to get their attention.

Though I do fall prey to stroller rammers ... :lmao:

They do spread them out. There's just that many of them. We were staying at ASMu, but visited the others, they were there too. I think you'd have to go deluxe or dvc to totally avoid them. We saw them at POR/POFQ and CBR too, thought at CBR it was just a few 5 or so, they might have been visiting same as us.

One knocked dd down to the ground to get ahead of her in line in the gift shop. The CMs were great w/ dd, she wasn't hurt but understandable frazzled. And she was 17 at the time, not some little one that could have been overlooked/accidentally bumped. :sad2:

We loved ASMu though!

My nephew works for Disney and says they are cracking down on them with new rules etc. I think the problem is lack of ADULT supervision as the chaperones were not much older than the girls. Or I suggest Disney make one resort just for groups and tell the rest of us so we can choose to stay at a different resort.

By the way we loved the feeling at ASMusic too but would probably not stay there again. We did an exit interview and told the CM all this too.

They were at Pop too, so it's not just ASMu. They were loud, inconsiderate and just plain trashy. We ended up leaving the pool one night, because, not only did they take over the pool and were loud and annoying, they were wearing bathing suits with their butts hanging out and tops which really only covered their nipples. I didn't feel it was in any way appropriate for my 7 year old son. (And yes, I know it can happen anywhere, but there were at least 75-100 of them, all dressed in the same manner...:scared1:)

:lmao: I think that may be the funniest thing I've seen on these boards. Ever. And I've been here awhile.

Glad you laughed. After I clicked post, I though..did I cross the line? I've learned not everyone around here has a sense of humor.

Well, to be honest, no one has ever accused me of being terribly politically correct. I've actually been told my sense of humor is a little twisted.

You made me think about all the people who've posted on here with complaints about other resort guests and my imagination just took off. A resort just for all the offensive folks - now there's an idea. :rotfl:

This can and will happen at ANY value or moderate resort-it is very unfair for you to blame Disney and specifically ASMu. I would have also been upset, but face it, Disney is a PUBLIC resort with LOTS of appeal to school groups. I have been at WDW 5 or 6 times during Pop Warner, 4 times or more during college cheerleading and during science field trip days @Epcot during F&G. Sometimes I've had great experiences and sometimes not-so-great, but it isn't Disney's fault. They can and DO require chaperones, but when the chaperones are drunk by the pool....(Been there, seen that)

See, now that's a shame. If their "swimsuits" were really that skimpy, Disney has a responsibility to step in and ask them to cover themselves. It's a family resort and they do actually have guidelines about that sort of thing.
