Well, we got back on Friday, from our almost 2 week odyssey. It was a great trip, with me gaining 4 lbs and DH gaining 10 lbs. So, we definately ate well! Cast was me, DH, DD and DS. DD and DS ordered exclusively from the kids menu, so their meals won't be included. I'll rate on a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being best. The ratings will be in comparision to what type of food it was, ie counter, sit down, etc.

Casey's: Hot Dogs at Casey's are a tradition, and again they didn't disappoint. Rating: 10

Chef Mickey's: Chef Mickey's is another tradition in our family, and we usually like to go on the first night. Tonight was no exception, and of course everything was great. The only problem was that the sky light at CR above me was leaking (It was raining pretty hard that night) and I had to move my seat to the side of the table. It was funny, and the next day, we did see a crane make an appearance at CR (staying at GF), so we always wondered if it was my complaints that made it show up!! Rating: 10

Cinderella's Royal Table: Well, we've been ti Cindy's about 6 times now, and it is starting to get old. The food isn't as good as it used to be, and the characters really do rush around. We had an 8:10 PS and were done and given our check at 8:40. We had seen all the Princesses by then (Cindy, Aurora, Snow White, Belle and Mary Poppins), but it was just so rushed. DD is now 6 and probably will be out of Princess mode soon, so we won't be going back. Rating: 5

Ohana: Our first trip to Ohana, we weren't at all thrilled with the food, but based on reviews here, we decided to give it another try. The food was better this time, but we still don't see all the allure here. Well, I guess different strokes for different folks. Rating: 6.5

Wonderland Tea Party: O.K. One kid reviewed item. DS3 and DD6 went to this, and basically they seemed bored. DS3 got scared by Mad Hatter, so I was paged and picked him up about 20 minutes in. He demended to go back 10 minutes later and stayed to the end, but neither of my kids seem totally enthused when we picked them up. DH and I wanted a nice quiet lunch, but with all the running back and forth, really didn't pan out either. Oh well, live and learn. Rating: 6

Grand Floridian Cafe: This is where DH and I went during the Wonderland Tea Party. The food was great as usual, but the atmosphere was somewhat marred by the constant running back and forth between the Tea Party. I love eating lunch here and will try to return next year. Rating: 8

Narcoossee's: We love Narcoossee's and this year didn't disappoint. I had the Filet and DH had some seafood pasta dish with vodka sauce. We both loved our meals, and ended withthe Key Lime Creme Brule. Everything was great, and it is on our repeat list. Rating: 9

Crystal Palace: This is our favorite place to eat breakfast, and another family tradition. The food didn't disappoint, and the characters were great. Rating: 10

Bahama Breeze: Our first trip here was less than steller, but we decided to try it again. Well, we were glad we did. The food was AWESOME! This is a definate repeat everytime we're in Orlando! Rating: 10

Le Cellier: Le Cellier was GREAT, and I had the best steak of the trip here. DH and I shared the ceasar Salad and Cheeder Soup, both were excellent! DH had the Prime Rib and said it was awesome. We shared the kids Chocolate Moose with them, and it was delicious! Rating: 9

Brown Derby: Our first dining experience here, and we weren't very impressed. The food was o.k., but nothing special. I had Rack of Lamb, and DH had Tuna. Both were just o.k. and nothing special. We shared the Grapefruit Cake for dessert, again, nothing special. Not worth the money, IMO. Rating: 7

Flying Fish: The best meal of the trip!!!! DH and I split the Ceasar to start, and it was one of the best Ceasar's I've ever had! I had the Pork Chop, and I'm currently drooling as I type, it was GREAT! Dh had the Potato Wrapped Salmon, and again proclaimed it awesome. We shared the Chocolate Souffle for dessert and it was GREAT!! We're definately coming back here next year! Rating: 10+++++

Pizza Planet: This was on the request of our kids for lunch one day, and 4 mediocre pizzas and 4 cokes cost us over $30. Enough said! Rating: 2 THe kids did have fun, so they gave it a 10!

CPK: We love this chain, and the food didn't disappoint, though our server needed a personality transplant! Rating: 8

Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package: Our first trip here, and it was just o.k. I think they serve better food at Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, so definately not worth the money. I had Penne a la Vodka (I make better and I'm not Italian) and DH had some creamy pasta dish he said he couldn't diffierentiate from an Olive Garden dish. The flat bread was good, but DH declared the salad unedible. We had a choice of desserts, not just the tiramasu ( I got it), it was just o.k. DH had the chocolate cake and said it was very good! The tickets to Fantasmic are worth booking a package. I think next year, we'll go with Hollywood and Vine, since we've eaten there before and like it! Rating: 4

Tchop Chop: We made the drive up to Royal Pacific to try Tchop Chop. The food was very good, but slightly overprice. But I guess Emeril needs the money!! Anyway, I started with the dumpling box, and DH had the soup of the day. Both were excellent. I had the strip, and DH had the sampler place, the strip was no where near as flavorful as the one I had at Le Cellier, but DH said his sampler was unbelieveable. We shared the Banana Cream Pie for dessert. I was debating between that and the Pineapple Upsidedown Cake, and I should have chose that. I love Bananas, but this was just to much Banana for me. Oh well.... Rating: 9.5

Beaches and Cream: Another family fave, and it didn't disappoint. Burgers all around, I had onion rings, they are awesome here! We shared the Milky Way Sundae, and it was the best way to end our trip! Rating: 10

If you're still with me, thanks, and sorry it was so long. Any questions, please ask!!!!

Im just back also. and two weeks also.
but we just eat in one place of those of you. Caseys. and loved it.

Can you expound more on Bahama Breeze, menu-wise? Did your kids like it?

Wow!! Love your post. It's a big help to the rest of us still trying to decide where to eat. There are so many choices!! Thanks for taking the time to share your experiances.

Regarding the Wonderland Tea Party, I want to send my youngest and think that he will be fine with the Mad Hatter since he will be with his big brother. He is only 3 and when I got the official document regarding the GF events from the Poly Concierage they list the age at 4. Were you ever asked? Did the age limit thing come up? Love the rest of your post. Glad to see that we are not the only ones who love Casey's (my favorite) and don't love Ohana's!

Thanks for sharing your reviews. Casey's is a tradition for us on the way out from E-Nights.

The age limit for the Wonderland Tea Party is actually 3. I asked WDW DINE many times, and even asked the GF front desk, before we got there. When I made the ressies, I said he was 3, so they were completely aware of his age. They do need to be potty trained to go, and they never asked his age, and it wasn't a problem. Ha Ha, it is nice to know there are others who don't like Ohana. Sometimes, that's hard to find around here!!

What is CPK?
Sorry about that. California Pizza Kitchen. It's a chain of gourmet pizzas. They're located at the Mall of Millenia. The website if you're interested is www.cpk.com

Now I'm mad that I didn't go to the Flying Fish last week! I had my eye on the pork chop everytime I checked out the menu.:D I guess I'll save it for next time. Thanks for the reviews!

We have PS made for Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace during our August trip...we have never been to either, so I am glad you gave them a 10! Thanks for taking the time to post!:earsgirl:
