Just Back from a few days at DL - Random Musings

I love Mickey and the Magical Map, I'm always surprised it's not as busy or filled as other shows because it's one of the best shows I have seen at Disney as a whole. I remember when it first started it was quite busy, I try to see it every few visits if I can.

The CMs during the parade are almost never helpful, even those who go often just kind of go with the flow or do their own thing because the CM will say one thing but then change their mind and say another so no one really knows what they're doing.

Really enjoyed your musings. I'm a WDW semi-regular and took my first real trip to DL this past May and agree with a lot of your thoughts. I really enjoyed Mickey and the Magical Map. We arrived at the theater just as it was starting and I was surprised we got decent seats showing up at the last second. Would definitely see again on a future trip (and there will be a future trip). While I think WDW's Haunted Mansion overall is better, I did like the Hatbox Ghost at DL. He was cool! Paint the Night was good, but I still prefer the MSEP (and incredibly sad it will be leaving the MK). I did appreciate Baroque Hoedown laced throughout the music. But oh the bottleneck of people during parades at DL! Good grief that place has traffic flow issues when a parade is going. I wish more people appreciated the Tiki Room. I just love it...to me it's a Walt Disney classic. I loved visiting the DL Tiki Room in May and being able to enjoy a Dole Whip while I watched the birds sing. Glad you had a great trip!
