Just back from a fabulous trip !

got back yesterday after 2 weeks at OKW and had a wonderful time !

We loved OKW, went to SSR last year and had a better position, this year we were a little too far from hospitality house/pool/drink filling station than I would have liked but never mind.

We did the 4 parks many times and the 2 water parks.

We also stayed for 1 night at the Royal Pacific to go to Universal and IOA which we LOVED !! The express pass is fantastic and we loved the Harry Potter and Spiderman rides !

Had a great 40th birthday meal at the yachtsman despite getting there late due to a storm and they were the only restaurant who couldnt find our reservation ! And typically as we'd had no problems before we hadnt taken a copy of the reservation number that day but they managed to fit us in !

Glad you had a great time. We've been back 6 days now and are all feeling a bit miserable, missing OKW like mad. This was our second year running at OKW, and before we went we had decided to do something else next year - now we are not so sure - we all want to go back to OKW!

We are thinking of staying at OKW next year,would you say you preferred it to SSR.
We've done SSR a few times so maybe will have a change.

I couldnt really choose between the 2 resorts as they are so similar. One of the things I was worried about at OKW was not having indoor CS but actually we preferred it-there wasnt as much choice but the queues were far shorter to be served and it was nice sitting outside to eat.

Cant really compare the rooms as we had a 1 bed last year and a studio this time

I would happily go back to either

Welcome Back..!!! did you go there last Thursday...we were planning on going to go the Yachtsman but luckily we cancelled the night before and decided to book at the Turf and Surf at our resort in SSR...
