We just got back from our week vacation at the Boardwalk Inn. And again, it was fabulous!

We ate at Chef Mickey's, Ohana, Teppen Edo, Coral Reef, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Trail's End, and Cape May.

We had a park hopper and visited every park.

Any questions, I will be happy to answer!

Glad you had a good time.

I have a couple of questions. :)

1) TSM - what were the lines like?
2) Lotso - Did ya see him, any pics?
3) Sum Of All Thrills - did ya do it? review? wait times?
4) Fantasyland - any construction - anything closed?
5) How much wood, would a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

How was Ohana?

We made ressies at Teppan Edo, Chef Mickeys, and Whispering Canyon too!

I heard great things about Ohana and then, I've read unfavorable reviews.

How were the lines for rides? Any rides down?

1. TSM-lines were still long, by 11:30 all the fast passes were GONE!! We fast passed and got in line for the ride. However they didn't have all the que lines open so it wasn't bad. We waited less than 40 minutes.

2. Lotso - did not see him. Saw LOTS of Green Army Men. They are fun and help entertain the crowds.

3. Sum of All Thrills - my son did it and loved it. He said he'd go again. Wait time was minimal, maybe 10 minutes.

4. Construction walls are up, it's kind of sad. However they have pictures and descriptions of what is coming soon! Took lots of pictures of Mickey & Minnie's houses.

5. Good question, maybe Robo can answer!

Ohana was wonderful! We had a 5:30 ADR and waited maybe 7 minutes. Bread was ok, nothing spectacular. The salad was incredible as were the noodles. LOVED the bread pudding with bananas foster sauce...could live on that stuff! However, I felt completely rushed during the meal. It took forever to get refills on the drinks.

Teppan Edo was amazing, as always! The shrimp was perfectly cooked!

I felt Whispering Canyon's food went down hill compared to 2008. Of course the endless milkshakes made up for that quickly!

Chef Mickey's was good, never been there before. We went for dinner our first night. Good character interaction, especially with the other adults in our party.

40 minutes for TSM, thats not bad the longest I ever waited was 2 hrs and that was because it was Night of Joy and during Night of Joy Fast Passes don't exist lol.

How were crowds in general?
Did you do EMH, if so how were they?

When you entered Magic Kingdom and picked up a park map, was it updated to show the Fantasyland closures?

Crowds in general were good. Friday at Magic Kingdom was busy because of VoluntEAR day. I thought EPCOT had very low crowds.

We did evening EMH on Sunday at MK at it was great. We were in the park until 12:30 a.m.

How was Cape May, which meal did you do there? Was the selection good and the quality up to Disney par?

We have dinner booked there and I'm still iffy on it have never been there before.

How were Chef Mickey's and Coral Reef? We're going to those 2 places on our upcoming September trip and we've never been to either.

"Just back" threads are a better fit for our Trip Reports board, so I've moved this one. :)
