Just back from 9 days at Pop!

Love bugs are black, flying bugs that just annoy the devil out of you. They don't seem to be bothered by anything and they were worse Saturday 5/26 thru Thursday 5/31. It seemed to me that on Friday, 6/1 and Saturday 6/2, they weren't as many of them.

As for the crowds, Monday, Memorial Day seemed lighter than normal at the MK. Tuesday was much busier and seemed more crowded as the week progressed. Not too, too bad, but this is our first WDW trip at this time of year.

It was our first trip at this time of year too, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected! We usually go in late August (after school starts) or September.

Yup, can't miss the lime green pants!! You can also find me searching the Mr. Potato Head station for any potato head pieces I don't have yet (although I doubt there are many!!!)!

Hope to see a fellow DISer. Although I'm sure there are many of us there we just don't know each other! Maybe it should say DIS on our foreheads Better yet, maybe Disney will give us a discount!

We requested the 50s, building A preferred. We stayed in the 80s last time we went with the kids. I'd rather be by the bowling pin pool--my kids will get a kick out of it, the computer pool is a bit boring! My DH and I stayed in 50s A last year when just the two of us went and it was nice close to food and buses!

What was your favorite item on the menu at Pop? I read that the shrimp lo mein was good and in 10.5 weeks I get to try it. My son is Joe Pizza Head so do you know how the pizza is? My daughter will try (then toss) anything.

Also, how are the walking paths? Do you get a good workout or do you have to do several laps? What's the view along the path like? I read that the new section of Pop is a real eyesore so I won't be taking too many pictures of that.

So glad to read your report and that you had a good time there. I'm kind of nervous since this will be our first value and the kids chose this one over the All Stars.

DH is a huge alfredo snob and he LOVED the chicken alfredo. I did too, the breadsticks are to die for. The kids liked the pizza, heres a hint, if the kids want say more mac and cheese or more plain pasta (they will happily charge you $6.00 a plate for it) ask for a side order, its a samll bowl holds alot though and it cost only I think $1.79. The people thier were very understanding about the kids issues.

We will be there Nov 16-22! I requested 50's, hope we get it! I already have my window clings to decorate our rooms and started making ADRs. Next are the airplane tickets & Christmas party tickets!! I am sooooooooooooo ready!!!
