Have members been able to use these tickets for those in their traveling party but NOT in their household in 2025?
This is for the DVC Sorcerer Pass which is a discounted annual pass with blockout dates.I finally found the reference to the 2025 tickets being used only by those residing in the same household in the Membership Extras Disclosure statement. I couldn’t get the words to copy so I had to make a screenshot of the section regarding WDW tickets. If a screenshot is a a no-no, please delete. I knew you guys would want to know where this was said.

I’m not sure they can change the 2025 terms for something they already sold and the terms for 2025 are still on the site to viewI remember it reading that way too (or at least members of your household). I was traveling with a friend and didn’t think I could get her a ticket. I’m not sure I looked too closely, because we were there over the weekend.
I wonder when the wording changed, because it clearly now states that it is the traveling party.
I didn't purchase until June. I had no plans to travel to WDW in 2025. In fact, I had already booked an August trip for my sister and banked the remaining points. Then the opportunity arose to join them and I didn't want to borrow more points than necessary. The OTUP were a great incentive because the free points pretty much offset the cost of MMB. The tickets weren't an incentive because we were traveling over a weekend but the MM was a nice bonus. We got a lot of pictures to commemorate my niece's first trip. And being able to jump ahead of the wait list in the MK lounge made me look like a hero on a sweltering hot day.Hi Disfriends!
I'm curious to hear from folks who purchased MMB for 2025...what was the "user experience" like? Did you feel it paid for itself or did you feel like there was enough value to purchase this again for 2026? I'm trying to figure out if there is enough value for me. DH and I are APs and I have memory maker attached to my AP. Our kids have APs too, so I don't think we'd ever use the park tickets perks. The OTU points are intriguing tho, as I purchase OTU points almost every year to "top off" a reservation.
Pretty sure this is Annual Passes not park tickets. Residency has nothing to do with these discounted WDW tickets.I finally found the reference to the 2025 tickets being used only by those residing in the same household in the Membership Extras Disclosure statement. Well that’s good! I missed buying this for a traveling companion since it said it had to be in our household. Glad I was wrong. This is for the DVC Sorcerer Pass which is a discounted annual pass with blockout dates.
This is separate from MMB WDW tickets.
Really glad I was mistaken. Thanks!!Pretty sure this is Annual Passes not park tickets. Residency has nothing to do with these discounted WDW tickets.

Their specific post was from the pass section yes, but they did limit tickets as well initiallyPretty sure this is Annual Passes not park tickets. Residency has nothing to do with these discounted WDW tickets.

It's interesting because the terms don't seem to match the "one per membership" the FAQ mentioned.
For those of you that bought OTU points.
1) Can you only purchase them at the beginning of the benefit year, Jan 1 2026? Or can you buy them after Dec 9th for use in 2026?
2) If you buy the OTU points Dec 2026, can you use them up to 7 months into 2027?
The OTU points are based upon your DVC contract use year, not the calendar year for MMB.
I bought OTU points in April for my April Use Year contract and am using those points for a stay next March. (Technically, you need to be in a 7-month window to use the points, so the cast member reserved a fake stay for me within the 7-month window, processed my payment, and then offered to immediately cancel the fake reservation to put the points into my account so that I could use them anytime from April-April.
Oh yes, not denying it wasn't there. Just pointing out the Membership Extra document shared has nothing to do with MMB. MMB lists the same rule as the Membership Extra document under Sorcerer Passes since you can use points for the passes as part of the program.I really wish I knew when they changed it because we may have used it for WDW tickets for our guests for our trip later this month
It was also referenced all over the place in regards to tickets specifically.

You don't have to buy yourself a ticket. You can buy the MMB tickets for your family while you use your AP.If I have an annual pass, could I still buy the MMB tickets for my family- or do I have to buy one for myself?
If they would let me buy and use it in Dec 2025 I would.
I guess they are international and most haven't been able to buy MMB in 2025Do you mean tickets, one time use points or MMB's options in general?
