Great TR! We were at Disney during the same week. It was hot, wasn't it?! By the way, did you find the parks crowded from Tuesday through the rest of your stay? We were in disbelief that we could walk on almost all the rides EVERYWHERE we went! We did MGM on Tuesday, Magic Kingdom on Wednesday and Epcot on Thursday. I'm not sure if the crowds were low because of the season or if it was because we went to the parks either the day after or the day before Extra Magic Hours for each park (we avoided EMH and it seemed to work for us). Anyway, we won dream fastpasses at MGM and never used them! We didn't have to get fast passes at Epcot - walked on everything! We did get a few fast passes at Magic Kingdom, but only to avoid the "10 minute" wait (really, we didn't wait for anything!). It was awesome! I would take the heat over the crowds any day.

Thanks. I thought it was pretty good for my first report! Yes, it was hot. And I normally like hot weather...but it seemed hotter than usual...could be my turning 50! We found the parks pretty empty as well...and we even went to the parks with the Extra Magic Hours. The busiest day was Sunday--the day before Labor Day. Other than that, we practically walked on any ride we wanted and the most we waited after that Sunday was 10 minutes. And I'm with you, I'll take the heat over the crowds any day! I just bought a spray fan and brought a rag to lay on my neck to cool me off and it worked great.

We bought a fan too... $17 for a battery operated water bottle with a foam blades! But, it worked and was worth every penny!

My DH and I met a lovely family on the PofC and we had a blast with the youngest girl...who was just a beautiful child. Her and my DH decided after the ride to have a sword fight.

Those pictures make me feel like I am still there. I was also there the exact same dates as you, arriving on Sept 1, but staying until the 12th.
I totally agree about the heat and the waits. It seemed like there were alot of people everywhere, but the rides were all walk-ons! We only used fastpasses for Soarin on almost our entire trip!
We won dream fastpasses at Magic Kingdom, and never even had to use them. I did not even pass them on to family who were staying because I knew they would not need them either. Oh well, we were happy to have won something.
KatMark, I was hoping to run into you at CSR, but seeing your pictures, I don't think we ever did. Glad you had a great trip, I know we did too!
