[B]Well, we made it back home after our thirteen day trip, it had many disappointments, and many memorable times.

We left on Weds., June 27th, had reserved a stretch limo since February from a reputable company after doing so much homework on the best service in our area, they were at our home on time, beautiful stretch lincoln, but NO drinks, no coffee which were promised, nothing but a limo and driver that never talked or introduced himself. I even called to confirm many times, including the day before to be sure they'd supply a infant car seat, when he arrived at our door, no car seat, we had to give them ours to use.

The driver was kinda cold to us and we had to bring most of our bags from the doorstep to the car and loaded 5 of 9 ourselves, yeah, me and my bad back, neck and knee, my pregnant daughter with her baby and my 10 and 15 year old, but, it was also 4:30am.

I asked the driver if he could stop at the gas station right around our corner, which was on his way anyway, so I could get our coffee, he said he'll stop on the parkway...he didn't stop till we were 3/4 the way to HPN. Not the service I was expecting from this comapny, but hey, he was on time and thats what mattered most.

Our flight was on JetBLUE from HPN to MCO and left ontime at 7am, a fantastic flight and great service, the weather was good and we arrived 15 minutes early. We'll never fly any other airlines if we can help it. They lived up to their great reputation and Westchester county airport in NY was great and very easy in and out. The counters are right there at the drop off site.

Having a bad back and tearing ligaments in my knee two days before we left made walking very difficult through the Orlando airport between JetBlues gate and Disney's Magical Express. We were unable to get any assistance from the airport in a timely manner from point A to point B, so we had to walk it with my pregnant daughter and her baby from one end to the other to get the Magical Express.

Arriving at the Grand Floridian at 12PM, the GF was beautiful, our room had not been ready yet, they said to check back by 1:30, they did not print our resort cards, they didn't even offer them, nor did they take time to review the resort layout, we had to pay cash for our first meal at Gasparilla's (good food). WE walked around, the kids went swimming, but the sun was brutal and it was very humid...I'd like to see some palm trees in one or two areas at the pools to offer some shade.

We checked at 2PM on our room, not ready. They said 3PM, we checked again, not ready, nor were our cards. We were exhausted. 3:35PM, the room was still not ready, then, 3:50PM, they said the room was cleaned but needed inspection.

Finally at 4:10PM they gave us our cards and checked us in, BUT, after all the requests I made, all the phone calls prior to leaving, all the hipe and excitement from Disney reservationists telling me we'll be pampered and they'll probably place us in a dormer room close to the main building because of my limited walking ability, and after specifically requesting NOT to be placed behind the pool building and would like the first or second floors, they placed us just where we didn't want to be, on the fourth floor behind the pool building in Big Pine, in which one elevator was down for service for our entire stay, the remaining elevator, slower than waiting for high tide to come in.

They made no remarks or had any concerns for my disabilities or for my daughter's pregancy upon check in, NOR did they wish anyone a happy birthday. We were offered another room on the second floor, but not until a couple of days later when a room was available, by them, we were all unpacked and pooped out.

This was a very special trip for us as we were celebrating my daughters 10 and 19th birthdays, my grandson's first birthday and my other daughter's graduation. I spent $580 on special gifts from the Disney Florest prior to leaving which were promised to be in our room when my kids walked through the door, they were not there, they arrived two hours later, the kids were surprized, but not as I had wished for.

That night, we went to Downtown Disney, and ended up paying for our first nights meal at the Rain Forest Cafe, $105.00 tab with tip.

The room (#9418) was ok, but NOT what I expected for the money we paid for this place and for being the premire Disney hotel. The TV was tiny, maybe 19 inches, the comforter had a two inch tear, we opened the TV cabinet and the handle fell off in my hand, the tub drained slow and gurgled, the hot water taps dripped constantly, the TV remote wouldn't change channels, our room had no refrigerator as was requested and promised, the movable vanity mirror was dangling from it's mount and wouldn't stay in place, on Friday, the power was shut off at noon for maintenance.

We had many spider webs and spiders on our balcony, dirty sliding glass door glass and a dirty balcony deck which I asked to have cleaned many times, but never happened in two weeks. As we entered our Big Pines building one evening, I spotted a 3 1/2foot snake in the front of the door, I notified the resort and it took 40 minutes for anyone to show up, by then, the snake moved its way onto another families patio, so I told them about it so their kids wouldn't go on the deck. They never found the snake, which was either a small copperhead or rat snake.

Transportation? I don't know what was slower, the buses or the one elevator, both were terrible. Several times we waited for one Grand Floridian bus to MGM for 49 minutes, then as it pulled up to our stop and we were getting the baby out of the stroller, he opened its doors and then closed up and drove away, leaving us behind while everyone was yelling for him to stop. It took another 25 minutes for another to come.

That night, after closing at MGM, we waited again, along with twenty other people over thirty minutes for the GF bus which combined the Wilderness lodge as well. This guy was slower than a snail, we didn't get back to the GF for at least another 45 minutes. For every one GF/WL bus, there were four or five for the Pop Century and value resorts. For the entire stay, the Disney bus transportation was horrible.

On one bus after a hot day in the parks, our bus was filled to capacity with screaming children, pregnant woman and some disabled persons, we had a new bus driver who was in training, the veteran driver was taking up two seats in the front giving him directions, needless to say, she never gave up those two seats for anyone, not even for the disabled or pregnant. Then, to make things worse, the driver pulled into the wrong way into the Wildreness Lodge, the guard yelling at him, he just kept going.

Prior to leaving home, I ordered and paid for special birthday cakes that were to be presented to my kids and grandchild at the Hoop Dee Do Review, they were NEVER delivered, no one knew a thing there. When I called the next morning, they credited me the cost and delivered the fresh cream cake to our room all dripping with warm whipped cream dripping from the cardboard box. Then, they called to apologize, said they would deliver one to our next reservation at the Whispering Canyon (fun place) the next night at no cost. Guess what, NO CAKE, no one knew a thing, then as we were about to leave, they bring it out misteriously and then tried to charge me for it.

This is just the beginning, for two days straight, after being at the parks for more than eight hours, we want to come back for a rest in our rooms, the room was not made up, they show up at 7PM.

The next day, my daughter goes to change the baby in the rest room in Epcot just outside the Mission Space attraction, she brought in the baby, the diaper bag and her $900 Canon digital SLR camera I just got her for Christmas, when came out, she was without the camera, she went back in, the camera was gone with 600-700 photos of my grandson and of our trip, never turned in. We called every day, all hours to all the lost and found locations, only to be left on hold more than a half hour to 45 minutes at a time, only to be told, no they don't have it. Hopefully the travel insurance will pay for the camera, but all those memories in photo are lost for good.

What was good about this trip? I bonded with my daughters and grandson which is priceless, over all, we have great memories. But, I'll never stay at the GF again.

After reading some unofficial books on Disney, and reading about how the Polynesian resort's service had dropped off over the last year or so, and reading how slow transportation could be at the Wildreness lodge, we decided on the GF for its reputation for quality and service, but every time we went to the Poly or WL, we recieved a welcome from someone, one person or another would say happy birthday to my kids and grandson, WE FELT AT HOME, and welcome there. We found many guests at the GF treated us like a bell hop if I held an elevator or door open, not even a thank you from many, not all, but many.

Twice on our trip I was spoken to very disrespectfully from one of the front desk people when I would call to ask advise of had a question, all I got was a cold yep, nope, or uh huh, the last time he did it I finally had to ask him to treat me a little nicer on the phone, then he said yes sir, no sir. Not good guest relations.

I wouldn't waist my money again at Ohana's Charracter breakfast, the service was good, but the meal was terrible. Mama Melrose's in MGM had great atmosphere, ok food, but lousy service. the Kona Cafe, the Biergarten and Whispering Canyon stood out above all others in WDW with great food, great service and great atmosphere.

When we first arrived on our first day, our order from GardenGrocer.com was perfect, everything arrived just fine, so they get high marks. But, Disney employees in the parks and especially those in guest relations and services really need to improve their attitudes and level of service to their guests, again, its not all, but there were many times we were disrespected and our wishes NOT made reality, AND IT ALL STARTED AT THE GF resort.

The forth of July firworks in the MK and Epcot were the best I've ever seen anywhere, especially at the MK, THEY FILLED THE ENTIRE PARK. Many attractions offered little airconditioning or fans, especially in the lines which moved like snails, the worst was Peter Pans attraction, everyone in like was starving for air.

We went to Epcot for an early breakfast one day, grabbed fast passes for Mission Space, after that finished, we headed over to Test Track for more fast passes, the pass machines were covered and shut down at 11:30am and it was not busy that day either, no could figure out why none were available. We were told to return at 1pm, which we did, and from the other end of the park, but, there were showers and they shut down the ride, and there must have been 200 people in line waiting.

We were lucky if we got more than one set of Fast Passes each day in any given park.

For us, there was LITTLE magic at WDW, more stress and disappointment.

Our return trip was good, the service from the limited english speaking JetBlue representatives at the gate was a disappointment as they were rude, never answered our questions and were cold. Again, all that was made up by another great flight on their A320. We arrived at HPN 10 minutes early, the baggage clain was slow and they only sent through a 1/3 of everyones luggage until 20 minutes later all the rest came out.

The workers at HPN were more than helpful and took all our bags to the limo and even helped load them for us. The limo was on time and the driver helpful and friendly, BUT, it was hot outside, we were again promised cold drinks, we got in and no A/C was on, it was stuffy and hot, he had Poland Spring water, but not on ice and it was hot, so we had no drinks or cool water for the baby's bottle.

Our experience on this trip...don't rely on promises, because seldom are they kept, and for WDW and the Grand Floridian to allow our most memorable vacation to start and end the way it did was not worth all the money and efforts I spent in planning this trip.

On a scale of 1-10, I give the Grand Floridian a 2 in making my childrens wishes come true, and WDW overall, a 5. Very disheartening to say the least!
They love to hear the compliments, but seldom want to hear the negitive, they mostly just pass the buck to another.

JetBlue, I give a full 10.

Wow, you did have an up/down trip. I'm glad to hear how you liked some of the things you did.

I didn't think I would have liked the Biergarten, since I am from Wisconsin, but I loved that place the most.

The Grand Floridian almost sounds like a forgotten resort. It seems like it is beautiful on the outside, but look out on the inside. Did you know you could have taken a Ferry from the MK to the Grand Floridian, I just wondered if you knew you had that option.

Thanks for sharing-and I know Florida has snakes, but I would of freaked out seeing one too.

Yes, we did use the boat launch a couple times, it was nice, but short. We used it also to go to Pioneer hall for the Hoop Dee Doo.

I really hate to say this about the GF, because it is a beautiful resort and we really did try to make the best of every negitive, and like Abe Lincoln once said, " if you look for the negitive, you will surely find it." I assure you, we were NOT looking for or concentrating on the bad, but what the GF did or didn't do for us, and I stress US, I'm sure not all families experienced the treatment we recieved, they really need to re-examine their policy on guest relations.

I did everything, and took all the advise I've recieved, and going on past experience of my other five visits to WDW to call Disney reservations and the GF up until 1-3 days prior to departure to make the proper requests for the room we not only desired, but really needed because of my disability with long walking distances and for my daughter as she is pregnant and had my 1 y/o grandson with us. We needed something closest to the main building, Gasparilla's, monorail and the pool.

I know for a fact that MANY rooms on the first and second floors in the Big Pine's building, closest to the main building were unoccupied for many days, even when we checked in, their own employees told me so and I personally verified this. The manager said to me that whoever located us in the first place should have carefully reviewed our needs and requests, well, in my opinion, that is part of his job too.

No one can tell me the GF front desk or the management took my requests seriously or even concidered my needs. They took the first room that came up on their computers and stuck us there on the fourth floor, broken elevators and all.

The greatest disappointment we experienced was the theft of our camera, not really the camera, but all the photos of our trip and the baby, all the birthday celebrations, all our memories.

I found a credit card and a room card on two occations and turned them in. Some woman we met lost her wallet with her cards and cash, someone turned it in. We met many folks who had the same thing happen to them and there was always some honest person to turn in the lost items. NOT us, some dishonest creep out there seen dollar signs and greed, the kicker, it was a girl or woman, from the ladies room.

How can anyone look at our photos of the baby trying to blow out his first b/day candle with cream all over his face and Snow White's lipstick kiss on his bald little head, my little girl celebrating her 10th with a princess and characters blowing out candles. I wonder if some day they'll be published on the web like myspace.

I only know one thing in my heart, what bad someone does or wishes upon another will come back to them tenfold.

Thank God we still have the video's and some other pictures for our memories.

But, as far as reports go for poor service at the Polynesian resort, not one person we met experienced any bad service there, well, except for one family who the Polynesian lost their reservations, but were quickly upgraded to concierge for the mess up. Do you think the "FLAGSHIP" Disney resort, the GF could have taken a few extra steps for us to make OUR wishes come true? It wasn't so. Disney's slogan "Where dreams come true" was not a slogan practiced for us.

It is heart breaking to loose a camera, especially with your pictures still on the memory card. Remember when you sent in film's through the mail and it was cheaper. I found out the hard way and lost all of our summer pictures. They sent me someone elses and they never relocated my 5 rolls of film.

Thank you for the follow up.

What a big bummer on the camera, that really stinks. I would agree with you that the GF is not in "flagship" shape anymore.

Yes! It is so disheartening to loose all those memories, I'm sorry you went through the same thing. It's one thing to have some knucklehead place your photos in someone elses packet, but to have another person, uncaring, selfish and dishonest take your memories for their own gain and greed is another.

Yesterday, another one of Disney's employees at their Resort Research and Billing office kept pace with the "extreme" poor level of service we've recieved to date when I began going through my incidental room charges that were billed to my bank cards.

We checked in to the GF on 6/27, I specifically noted to the desk person that I would pay for ALL room charges in cash 2/3rds, and my other c/c the other third. On 7/4, I recieved a message on our room phone that my card I made reservations with would be charged the full amount for incidentals, FIVE days prior to checking out on 7/9.

I called the front desk, asked why I recieved the message and again told her my method of payment. She apologized, explaining the message was generated by computer, assured me no charges would be made until check out. At 9AM on 7/5, I called and requested a current statement to date. She said it would be at my door in 20 to 30 minutes. After 1 hour, it had not arrived. I again called, they said they had no runners at the time and apologized, and said it would be on its way in another 20 minutes. By then, I forgot about it.

I stopped by the front desk at 1:30pm for the invoice. The total was $1197. I kept all reciepts and the invoice jived with all charges. On the evening of 7/8, our last night, I found the express checkout envelope on my door with another statement, the total was now $1480. That seemed OK and on target for my budget and what I expected to spend during our stay, but, I told my daughters no more room charges without my approval.

At 10AM on 7/9, I had the desk print me a completely new statement, it had the same amount, give or take $50. I Paid 1/2 cash and the other half with my other bank card.

Yesterday, I began going through each and every charge and reciept, I went online to check my bank accounts, I was then startled that my original card was charged $1197 billed on 7/5, even after telling them not to bill that card, but on my other card account, they had billed it $1405 on 7/11.

I called the above mentioned billing office to go over the charges, and please excuse me for sayiong this, I wanted to reach through the phone to this extremely rude S-O-BLEEP and shake him. I want to say something else, but can't.

There was NOT one second when he would allow me to speak, all he would rudely say is "these are legitimate charges!!!" "You made them, you should know!!!" I was able to get one word in and asked if he would spend a minute to go over the charges from 7/4 to 7/9, explaining all that was discussed with the front desk that I mentioned above. His statement to me, "I'll just mail you the copy." I said, "I have three copies and all my reciepts and they DO NOT total $2602.81." I said "I was billed twice and on two separate cards." His say's, "NO YOU WERE NOT! I will mail you that copies"

When I tried to explain further the events and conversations I had with the GF, he just kept interupting me, speaking rudely with an uncaring voice to the point I had to raise my voice which I hate to do "will you PLEASE allow me to speak? Is this the level of service a repeat Disney guest is supposed to recieve?" He said "I'll just mail the copies" and he hung up on me, never giving me his name or operator number.

To make sure one of us was either right or wrong, my daughters and I went through each and every single charge, we found that between 7/5 and 7/9, we spent another combined total of $208.

Now, whoever is right or wrong here, is not the principle, it is the treatment I have recieved by this foul mouthed, snotty and rude Disney employee, and he wasn't the first, but he was the worst I have ever dealt with.

I have been in the customer service and quality control business for over 28 years. I've been trained by the best corporations in America and have come to learn that people have bad days. Maybe his car didn't start and he was late for work, thus getting yelled at by his boss in front of everyone in the office, or maybe he didn't have his coffee yet, maybe, he was at the end of his shift and wanted to go home and I interupted him.

You know what, and forgive me for sounding uncaring, but, I don't care, there's NO reason to disrespect a guest, prior to booking a trip, or after checking out of the resorts!

This Disney company, a five star plus employer and company, needs to know how their guests are treated by their employees and the absolute negitive level of respect some of these so called cast members speak to their guests, especially in resolving questions or problems.

Maybe I'll find out after triple checking all our reciepts and charges that I am completely wrong, but I'm 90% confident I am not, but I could be, there is never a reason for raising your voice to a customer, especially a multiple repeat guest, never a reason for rudeness, never a reason to speak over a guest, constantly inturupting, and never a reason to say to a guest..."maybe you should speak to your kids, you made the charges, you should know."

So, it's REALLY not the dishonest girl or woman who stole our Canon SLR that ruined this vacation, true, the lost photos and memories are a huge bummer, but we have video and 180 other digital pictures. It's not that the GF never took my requests for our room based upon our physical needs even after multiple phone calls, or the broken elevator and hundred other mix ups and poor level of service at the GF or that our room was not ready until and hour after normal check in time, or how they forgot all our bithday cakes or my $580 in special Disney florest gifts were not in the room for my kids... what ruined this vacation is the many Disney cast members and their lousy attitudes and rudeness.

I bet I will never recieve a call back or response letter if I even write to Robert Iger, Al Weiss, or James Rasulo with my concerns or complaint, but I think I will write them, they need to know why I'll never book travel to any Disney vacation spot again.

Like many of you on these boards, we've all spent large sums of money on our Disney vacations, and we deserve better, in my case, I could have had three to five new cars or a nice down payment for a home after spending what I have for our six stays at WDW. In fact, we were to book another for this coming Christmas time, that will never happen now, not after the disrespect I have experienced.

Does it sound like I am a complainer, sure it does, but in reality, I am patient and show kindness and respect towards others on the good and the bad days. I take things as they come and try to make the best of a circumstance. But, now, both my accounts are charged large sums of money and Disney doesn't want to know a thing or offer any assistance in a resolution.

What a big bummer on the camera, that really stinks. I would agree with you that the GF is not in "flagship" shape anymore.

It seems to be on the exterior, in fact it was beautiful on the outside, I'm not sure of concerierge level, but spiders, spider webs and peeling ceiling paint on our balcony left a sour taste to ever want to return there again. I should have listened to my girls and stayed at the Poly or WL.

Wow, you did have an up/down trip. I'm glad to hear how you liked some of the things you did.

I didn't think I would have liked the Biergarten, since I am from Wisconsin, but I loved that place the most.

Oh, I have to tell you, the Beirgarten was fantastic, especially if you can speak some German. It was really fun, had a great food buffet which was constantly freshened up, the wait staff was always poilte and even waited until you swallowed your bite before asking if everything was OK. Waitresses and waiters always seen to wait until you have a mouthful before asking you.

The live German music was a hoot.

Some people have a hard time sitting at tables with strangers, but all one has to do is introduce themselves and just let loose and be free. On our last experience, we were seated with two adult males and a woman, I introduced ourselves, but they were very quiet, first impression was that they were cold.

The man sitting to my left kept looking at my daughters and no where else. At first we were very uncomfortable, until I overheard them speaking about a Cerebral Palsy fund they attended. My oldest brother suffered from Cerbral Palsy and my daughter was wearing a Walk for Cancer fund shirt.

We soon began talking and it turned out the man to my left had Cerebral Palsy and attends Special Olympics 50 miles from our home. It turned out to be a great evening. Thumbs up on the Beirgarten! Well worth it every time.

OMG! I can't believe all the bad service, rudeness, etc. you encountered. That is totally inexcusable, IMO. No wonder you have a bad taste in your mouth about Disney after that! How horrible!

That sucks about your dd's camera. I would keep checking, however, and hopefully it will still turn up. They should at least turn in the memory card.

Just an aside: We, too, are from Fairfield (small world, huh?) and will be flying out of HPN in a few days as well. My dh has flown out of there a few times and I can't believe how easy it is compared to JFK or LGA. We will try to book all our future trips out of there when we can.

Again, I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I would definitely follow up with letters and/or phone calls as necessary.

Hellooooo fellow Fairfielder! Yes, it is a small world.

HPN was great, I'm so glad JetBlue decided to open another hub there. We've always flown from Bradley in Hartford and thought that was great, still is, but HPN was so much easier, clean, less crowded.

NY wants to make Stewart airport the fourth major hub for NYC, I'll guarantee that HPN will soon be also and will be much more crowded as people catch on and more airlines open or expand thier hubs there.

I don't think however that the locals will like the traffic and plane noise increasing though. But, if the NYC big three airports can lessen their passengers by a million or so per year and they have their way, it will happen. Unless of course the multitudes in surrounding towns bond together and fight to stop it. I can see HPN expanding though.

Jetblue just moved into HPN in March 07 and does not have a jetway to enter the planes, you have to walk up and down stairs onto the tarmac.

When we arrived back at HPN, we exited the plane down the stairs and there was a US Air twin turbo prop right next to us warming and running up his throttle and engines, backing out to the taxiway. To me, I love planes and military airshows and am used to the loud jet and prop/enging noise, but young children are and were frightened by the plane, and the engine exhaust and fuel odor was very strong, thus offending many people. That, was really the only flaw I seen at HPN. I'm sure JetBlue will put in a jetwalk for passengers in the near future.

As far as the camera goes, its gone. We called again yesterday, and naturally waited on hold another 20-25 minutes. The person asked us to once again describe the camera, my dd did, then the cast member said to my daughter..."Is it black with a Canon strap, about 4"x3"x2" and with a 75x300 lens?" All excited the found it, my dd replied, "YESSS, THATS IT," the woman said, "NO, sorry, we don't have it."

Now, we know there are dishonest people out there and they would say anything to claim something nice, but that really got to us by those trick questions, it was like the icing on the cakes we never recieved or the straw that broke our backs. It was to the point of cruel. Oh well, what more can we expect, the service so far has been horrendous.

Like many companies and their employees, they love to be smooth and kind and helpful when they want your money, but after you hand it all over and services were or were not rendered as promised, its a whole different story after the fact.

I am so sorry to have to be writing all this negitive on Disney, because there were truely many fun and memorable times, many cast members who bent over backwards to make this trip magical for my children and grandson, but there remains the handful of cast members that should have there job descriptions and positions seriously reviewed, who really played the Cruella Deville parts (not sure about that spelling). They, the few, truely placed a black cloud over our vacation and almost seemed to enjoy doing so, the only short words to decribe them---RUDE and CARELESS.

Thanks for your thoughts and well wishes! Hope you have a safe and joyful trip.

I have to tell you we were at Disney the first week of June. and we went through the same thing!!
we have never encountered so many RUDE cast members in all the years of going to Disney!
we stayed at the pop and not ONE cast members had a smile on there face.and RUDE!!
we also had a room request put in by our travel agent and they told her no problem.
well when we checked in they tell us someone is in the room! now this room is not a preferred room.
just close to the parking lot. well after telling her what I was told she called the mgr over to look.
well low and behold no one is in the rooms they were blocked for us!
why not just check it out before making a big deal about it! that was just the beginning of a really bad trip!

we had went for my big 50 birthday my daughter also ordered a cake well they messed it up and had her in tears.
did they care no! but they did end up giving her the cake for free. but that's not point they ruined the day!
then we went to Le Cellier for my b-day dinner OMG! we had mo for our waiter never again will I go in there! and we loved that place! he was so bad never refilled our drinks or anything. I asked for a refill I said "may I please have a refill"
I said it nice OMG he got in my face and said I HAVE MORE THAN JUST THIS TABLE!! That was it I lost it I was in tears!
the mgr came over did he care no there way of fixing everything is to offer you a fastpass!!
so much for a Happy Birthday I ended up with a messed-up cake and a crappy meal!

and that's about how the rest of our week went rude cast members and no one cared about anything!
the topper of my vacation was the last day thank God it was the last day we were leaving MK
and I was getting on the bus I had my hands full with a stroller and some popcorn.
it was one of those new busses where they lower them before you get on.
well the driver didn't lower it and these busses do not have steps it was a high step up.
well my foot got caught under the buss and I fell into the buss. on my bad knee did the driver offer me a hand up no!
he just smiled and said you need to be more careful getting on the buss!! what an @>>
well my leg was swollen for 2 weeks and hurt and I am having trouble with it now.
But I have had 3 surgeries on it and no one is going to touch it again LOL
and if you are dying to know did Disney care ?? NO they did not they told me to turn it into my car insurance to pay for it!!

My medical ins covered it that's Disney for you stick it to us one more time.
so I totally understand how you feel we go every year it may be awhile before we go back.(I'm still really mad but I do Love Disney)
that is alot of $$ just to throw away and it got so bad my 4 yr old granddaughter was crying saying I want to go home I don't want to be at Disney World no more. well that's one memory I hope she forgets!

I sure hope your next trip is better I don't know if it was the time of year or what we usually go in sept or nov.
we just went in June for my 50th well that's one b-day I will never forget LOL..

take care and better luck next time

Wow, that is really a shame, and here I thought it was all in my head. Sorry you went through all that.

I too had a big prob with another Disney bus driver, and at the time, two of my kids as well. We brought along a baby stroller, we kept all our bags in the bottom cargo net which included the diaper bag, cammera bag and a lot of other junk.

Well, after eight hours in MGM, the bus rolled up with a full load, my kids entered the bus empty handed and left me with my bad neck/back and knee to lug it all. I folded the stroller up and there it all went, everything fell out of the bags. Not one person helped me, the bus driver just sat there and looked on, passengers walked around me, I looked like a complete idiot, lol.

As far as all those charges I mentioned in other posts...On 7/5, we attended the Spirit of Aloha show (a real HUGE dud for the first 1/3rd of the show with poor acting skits, but it got better, they need to stick with the hula dancing, not acting!). At show's end, I placed my room card in the dinner reciept booklet. The waitress (fantastic and friendly, top be highly commended for awesome service) later returned with my card and reciept, not paying attention, I signed the reciepts, put the card in my wallet and we left.

The next morning on 7/6, I went to Gasparilla's at the GF for breakfast, I pulled out the card, the girl rang my total up, she said we had no more dining credits left. Looking at the card, I noticed it was not my card. The waitress at the luau handed me back someone elses card and someone ended up with mine.

I immediately went to the GF concierge, he cancelled both cards, printed me a new one, checked for abnormal charges and said it was ok. Well, I just finished tallying up all our reciepts compared to our statement of charges, I find 13 charges I have no reciepts for, nor do any of us know what they are. I now have to wait for their itemized statement in the mail.

I hope your next trip will be better than your last also. But, thats it for us and Disney, I'll never go back. Good 'ol Walt must be rolling over in his grave.
