Just back from 1st VB trip

We never saw a rat either while there, thank goodness. We did see several snakes, rabbits, and the ever present lizards. I could take the snakes because they were just on the sidewalk. I am not so sure about the rats. They are just too quick and you don't have time to see them before they are under your feet. I am glad we didn't know about them before we left.

Yikes - we've been to VB twice and haven't seen any rats and I hope we never do. We did however have a spider in our room that was as big as my hand. We called the front desk and they sent over a pest control man who killed it and removed it - he said it was a "house spider". Not where I come from!!! In New England house spiders are teeny tiny - this thing could have been in a cage at a zoo!
