We flew from Logan (Boston) 11/22 (day before Thanksgiving) and returned from Orlando 11/28. I carried on all toiletries & medical supplies. I had the clear ziploc bag of toiletries. I had the insulin, testing materials, syringes, monitor, etc along with letter from doctor, extra prescriptions, prescription labels from test strips, lancets, & all insulin(the insulin was in a little pouch with a gel pack) all in a quilted cloth case. Both the ziploc bag & the quilted case were placed in the bin with my shoes & coat. My other pill meds were in a cosmetic case in my carryon bag & I never removed that. I informed the TSA agents both times that I was carrying diabetic supplies, but in each case they didn't ask to see anything. In both cases security went very fast & smoothly & I felt that the TSA agents were doing a very good job.

Thanks for the info! DH is diabetic and we will be carrying all his supplies..
thanks :)
