Just back--Expedition Everest cast member preview was this past weekend

We were at AK Friday and there were tons of cast members there to ride it (they were giving them some sort of silver promo item so they were easy to pick out). It was weird to be walking through AK and hear people screaming! Everybody we talked to kept saying how wonderful it is. It about killed us to see people riding it and not be able to do it ourselves. You DVC members should have lots of fun this weekend!

I was there! The promo thing is a car shade thing for the window that says I survived Everest Expedition.

I thought the ride was really neat, but not as scary as I was expected. It did a lot of start-stopping. Going backwards is a weird sensation though! I was surprised at how close the cars get to the Yeti.
