JUst BAck EE was a no go for us...

Man I love punctuation.

In that case, you should really re-type the above sentence with a comma after the word 'man' to signify a pause in the sentence. It would read a lot better that way and would also serve the purpose of making you look less silly, considering you obviously see yourself as worthy of judging the way other posters write.

Along with periods (i.e. at the end of your sentence above) and never starting a sentence with the word "and" as well as never starting a sentence with a lower case letter.

Who the hell cares how people type their messages on the DISboards? We're all here to 'chat' about WDW, gather information and share ideas.

Just got back from our weekend at BOARDWALK Inn When we realized it was also the passholder sneak we were excited headed over to disney sat headed over to AK line for EE was backed up over DINO LAND bridge.. NO WAY were we staying so we headed to epcot came back around 3 line still backed up to tarzan rocks asked CM how long of a wait and he said 2 1/2 to 3 hrs heck no so headed back for dinner at epcot... hubbie got up first thing today (sunday) was at AK by8:30 took over 30 minutes to just get through the line into teh park then by time he got to EE was a 2 hr wait he managed to get fast passes so headed back to get me said since he had teh passes I may as well ride too.. ( i had already decided that I would just wait and head over sometime after it opens in the morning and ride it when there would be no wait) it juts was not worth it... Well we try on last time and even with the fast pass it was gonna be a long wait the line to even get to it was over the bridge again.... so.. so much for us riding it not too disappointed we enjoy teh couple time without the kids and will j ust head ober after it opens and get on when there is not so much hype.. I think everypassholder in teh world showed up to ride this ride this weekend!!!

Aw, sorry you didn't get to ride it. Those lines sound bad! On the other hand, you have the perfect excuse to get back there a.s.a.p. eh?

It is about Disney, and not your spelling or punctuation.. Those posts were just rude, and you should ignore them--just as they have the option of skipping over any posts they find grammatically unappealing. :thumbsup2

Sorry you didn't get to ride EE, though. :)

I agree. Those posts were rude and sarcastic. Not something I see here alot. Sorry you didn't get to go. Our kids are grown and we got there early on the first day (Thursday)

We arrived at AK opening Saturday. DH & I are passholders. A couple with us have DVC.
We took the route to the left, not through Dinoland, and glad we did.
As soon as we went through the ID line, we met a que line. (Having no idea what we were standing in line for at that time.)
But it was the que for the tickets for the free pin/lanyard.
From there we walked to the ride. The sign out front read a 40 minute wait.
We walked, expecting to be met with another long que line.
NOTHING! The rode was walk on, and not even all the seats were occupied.
There was another outside long que line for those wanting FP, and the return time was already 11:00+. Had they only known they could have walked on then and there.

GREAT ride. :cloud9: :yay:

I am glad guests are complaining about the Passholder (and DVC) pins being sold out so fast. That was ridiculous not to have at least an LE5000 each. They do that on regular Passholder pins that are not that popular and linger for months. And the popular pins are low LE. :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: Way to go!

Children, children, PLAY NICE!

While it is most helpful to use capitals, punctuation and spell check for the comfort and convenience of readers, it is not a requirement on the DIS. Your point may be mis-read if it is unclear where one thought ends and one begins, but hopefully we can give each other the benefit of the doubt and believe our dear posters mean whatever they're saying in the very best way. Hopefully we can respond in kind.

Yay! Maybe now it won't be so hard to get onto Soarin' :p
actually we did soarin 2 x on saturday and once more this morning.. in addition everything was walk on in the "world" part of epcot as well as space ship earth.. not sure mission space or test track...
we have plans to go back in march maybe it will have a soft opening then from what we saw of kids coming off of EE my kids ages 6 and 8 will have no problems with the ride it look very secure (i always worry that even though they meet the height requiremen and are not scared that they may slip through becasue they are so skinny small boned.. and lots of times lap restraint only goes down as far as biggest person so i am always squishing it down tight on myself..) boys are looking forward to go over and riding it now...

Interesting, and not our experience at all this morning. We walked through Rainforest Cafe at about 8:35am this morning, walked through the turnstile with no wait and got a spot on at rope drop about even with the door to Island Mercantile. They dropped the rope at about 8:55am and then held us up again on the bridge right before Everest. There were at least 150 people in front of us at that point. They started letting people through the ID check at about 9:10am. We first got fastpasses (with a 10:35am return time) and headed to the growing standby line.

There were several hundred in front of us at that point, but it took us no longer than 15-20 minutes to board. Afterwards, we rode Kilamanjaro and returned for Fastpass. By then (10:35am) the standby line was 90 minutes.

:confused3 Why so rude? I've been on other boards and would not return due to the rudeness. I enjoy this board, because everyone seems so helpful and considerate of others. I'm hoping that this is not going to be the norm around here. :sad2:

I questioned my hubbie about this as he got there early enough that he should have been able to ride.. Since i was not planning on riding i sent him over early... He came back with fast passes he prob was put off with teh long line like you described but had he stucl it out he prob would have been on very quickly once the line starte dmoving.. Oh well as someone else stated it just gives us another reason to go back....

I got in line at 2:00 pm Saturday. They had told me that it was going to be a 2hr wait. They were spot on. It took exactly 2 hours. I was wondering.... when you got the vouchers for the lanyard/pin, did your voucher say Annual Passholder DVC Member? I happen to be both and was curious if they could track my DVC membership with my AP. Of course it may have been printing this out for everyone since everyone there was either an AP holder, DVC Member or guest of a DVC member.

We went over yesterday to ride EE too. The standby line was 110 minutes when we arrived. Needless to say DH and DS's (11 & 5) vetod waiting. Oh well, we will go back and try again.(hopefully there will be another chance!) If not we'll wait until April like everyone else.

Hi-my family got to ride on CM preview day last Sunday (the 22nd). My niece works at Disneyland and when we entered thru CM entrance they asked if we were there for the special event. We said SURE! (I had read on Disboard before I left that Florida CM days would be while we were there-hoped we could get in-AND we did!) :cool1: We rode first thing. Took about 20 min. CM behind us in line gave us his Fastpasses. (We also did child switch) By using Fastpasses and child switch we each got to ride twice. We got a fast pass for later in the day so we all got to ride 3 times. We loved it! On our last ride, I took pix-got some good ones-I won't spoil the ride for anyone, but it was fun, fast, and unexpected! We also bought some EE souvenirs.
