Just back....disappointed

Another time I went into one and I turned around to see crap on the stall wall, I literally almost got sick.
Wow, talented individual.

How do these people make such a mess when they go? Is it that difficult to go to the bathroom and get it inside the big bowl?

It's done on purpose. Punk kids that think they're being funny.

:scared1: We were there in August and I have to say I agree that the bathrooms were disgusting. The one bathroom that was nice was next to
HDDR. Very clean. But the others, the smells and surroundings were enough to make me barf! :faint:

Okay, I have been thinking about this all day.

Did any one complain that day they were there? I hope so, an email is okay but taking a manager there would do much more, IMO.

What does this post say about the people who visit WDW, too? The visitors are real slobs, in my opinion. Too many people think that because they pay a bunch of money to get in, it entitles them to be pigs. I agree, the bathrooms are a mess, but Disney didn't make them a mess, the tourists did.

To all the inconsiderate people out there:

Flush the toilet, don't urinate on the seat, don't leave stinky diapers and dirty trash on the counters. Act like it's your bathroom at home, and hopefully you don't live like that at home.

Great point! The tourists do leave the messes.

I just sent an email, but I was wondering if any of you knew of a direct phone number I could call. I'd love to speak to someone one-on-one about this problem.

I experienced the same thing when I was there in November. The restrooms at MGM were particularly nasty.

I don't understand how Disney can make a ride smell like fruit but can't use the same "magic" in the bathroom! :sunny:

The same "baking cookie" scent that they pump out on Main Street should be pumped into the bathrooms.

It must be the Dining Plan... everyone is eating 3 big meals a day & snacks and desserts.

Hee, hee! What goes in, must come out!

Seriously, I always tell a manager in a store or restaurant if the restroom needs "attention". I would do the same thing at Disney.

Haven't been in years, but we're going in April. Hope this is addressed by then!

Wow when I was there in May this was not a problem. We saw CM's constantly cleaning them. It is disgusting how piggy people are! :scared1: We all need to make a promise that if we see nasty bathrooms we will find a CM and report it! Maybe we can make a difference!

Maybe I'm lower maintenance than others...but I also just returned from Marathon Weekend, and noticed maybe one bathroom that was not so great. Not that any were particularly SPARKLING (though a few were)...but nothing that grossed me out. And believe me, travelling in a group with 5 other females (plus myself), I would notice...we must have stopped in at least 30% of the restrooms of the 4 theme parks!

and...about the idea of "sprinkling" on the seat. Many times that is a function of the automatic flush toilets. They do make a mess with just the water.

And...I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir...but you do know that if the toilet doesn't flush automatically, you can hit the little button to flush it?? ::yes::

we just returned from Marathon weekend also. It has been YEARS since I was at WDW but I do agree with the other posters. The bathrooms were not very clean. I did see an attendant at Epcot mopping, wiping, replinishing (these were the bathrooms outside the park during the Marathon) so I guess they were kept busy. The AK bathrooms must have been okay because I did not notice any mess. But the MK bathrooms smelled. I think it was the one by Mickey Star Traders - 3 stalls were out of TP. I went next door to Mickey Star Traders and asked a CM to call Maintenance to put out more TP. She looked at me and said, that is not my job. I don't take care of the bathrooms. There was a CM standing nearby and he said he would call the appropriate person to get more TP delivered to the bathroom.
I would say most were clean but the few which were smelly, were dirty also. I did notice MK had more trash on the ground than Epcot. I noticed on Sunday at MK, the CMs walking around with the trash picker upper thingy.

all in all, smelly bathrooms or not, we had a great time!! CindyML

Yeah, but you can usually tell the difference between some toilet sprinkling, and the yellow splashes on the toilet which obviously were deposited directly. :)

it seems that Disney used to always have someone in most bathrooms, especially the large ones. not anymore, I guess (I haven't noticed many problems, but I live here - so maybe I'm just used to the messes). And yes, there are plenty of messes!

We just got back for a week+ trip and the bathrooms did get progressively worse over the trip. I know that during Marathon weekend they were having plumbing problems in the restrooms by Peter Pan, and I believe they had the same plumbing issues in other areas as well.

Oh NO!!!! We leave for WDW in 3 days!! If the restrooms are bad when we get there, I will be finding someone to complain. However, I hope the emails that you guys are sending will help before then.

If they can't afford to pay someone to clean up the bathrooms, how can they afford to pay someone at MGM just to walk around and insult people for laughs? On another board someone was quite upset at what that person said to her son thinking it was a big joke. I'd rather have a clean bathroom.

OH MAN, we leave for WDW 01/29/06 and my DH has the tiniest bladder and so he is ALWAYS in and out of the R.R. Hence, I tend to run in more often than usual when I am out with DH....so PLEASEEEEEEEEE WDW clean up the R.R. before we get there....PLEASEEEEEEEE PRETTY PLEASSSSEEEE :scared1: :scared1:

I was there over the Christmas holiday and I just thought it was due to the crowds, I actually complained to Guest Services who said they would have someone fix the problem, after I visted two bathrooms with multiple stalls with out toilet paper and well the smell is awful.....I think I will be emailing Disney as well......
