My family which included DW, DS4, DS3, DD1 and two grandmas just returned. Here are our dining reviews.

Chef Mickey's (Dinner): This was our first meal and one of the most memorable. Despite the number of people dining at this restaurant, we had very good character interaction. During the course of our dinner, we had 2 visits from Chip & Dale and Goofy, and one visit from Mickey & Minnie. Donald, who sits in the front of the restaurant, was free for the better part of our meal and the kids visited with him several times. The food was pretty good, the BBQ ribs were excellent, and the Sundae bar was great. This will be a not-to-be-missed restaurant for us in the future.

Peco's Bills - MK (Lunch): Decent burgers with very good toppings bar (sauteed onions and mushrooms .... yum).

Whispering Canyon Cafe (Dinner): St. Louis BBQ ribs were okay (not as good as Chef Mickey's). The other adults all ordered the BBQ chicken which they said was good. Very good biscuits and corn bread to start off meal. Delicious Apple Caramel pie for desert. The antics were fun ... DS3 asked for ketchup and was quite surprised. Stick pony rides and lincoln log table were big hits with the kids. Overall food was fair, but dining experience was good.

Flame Tree BBQ - AK (Lunch): Very good grilled chicken salad in a taco shell bowl. Will return for this again in the future.

Le Cellier: This was to be the highlight of the trip, but the kids were "monsters" for this meal. However, every table around us seemed to have a "monster" as well. The dining room was quite elegant and our waiter (Brendan) was superb. We all ordered the cheese soup which 2 loved and 2 did not like. The pretzel bread was good, but nothing to rave about. I ordered the house specialty ... Filet Mignon with mushroom risotto. This was incredible. Everyone else ordered the prime rib and wished they had ordered the Filet. Despite the kids' behavioral issues and the 2 trips to the lobby for "attitude adjustments" the dining experience was still good. We only ordered 1 desert ... the moosehead ... just couldn't pass it up.

SciFi: Due to DS3's fear of dark places (which we learned about on Pirates of the Carribean and every ride thereafter), we broke our party up to keep DS3 out of this restaurant. I volunteered to take DS4 and DS3 to Pizza Planet (sorta like Pizza Hut with very long lines), while the rest of the group went to SciFi. Although I don't know what anyone ate, no one spoke about the food, but rather how cool the restaurant was. I'll give this a try next time.

O'Hana: Very good quality food from the appetizers (salad, wontons, chicken wings, etc.) to the smoked meats (steak, turkey, pork) and shrimp. For us, the steak was the standout and we requested several additional skewers. Coconut races was a big hit. Pineapple with caramel sauce was the perfect ending.

The Land (Epcot) counter service: We ate from the pasta and potato section ... food was fair. We had a PS for Teppanyaki, but weren't up to the journey to World Showcase. Not a good move on our part.

Rainforest: We have one at home and I really didn't want to dine here, but got outvoted. I ordered the crab cakes for $20 and wished I had ordered something else. The salads looked pretty good and received good reviews. DS3 did not do well with the thunderstorms.

Cosmic Ray's: Basically, same meal as Peco's Bills (burgers and toppings), but with better entertainment. High school band was playing on the stage and then that robotic creature thing entertained us.

Prime Time Cafe: Probably the most enjoyable meal of the trip. Kids were well behaved, we kept our food selection to meat loaf and fried chicken, and had a fun server in Aunt Liz. MIL knew that if she didn't finish her veggies she wouldn't get desert, so she hid them under her unfinished chicken. Couldn't fool Aunt Liz who found the uneaten veggies and with the assistance of the neighboring tables we "airplaned" her veggies into her. With milk shakes, electric ice cubes, and S'Mores ... this was a great ending to our vacation.

Thanks for the reviews! We really liked Chef Mickey's on our last trip and thought the food was great. We are trying 'Ohana on our next trip and really looking forward to it! Thanks again for posting! It's always nice to hear good things about a new place you are trying!:D

Really enjoyed your reviews. One of our sons went through a period of time where he wouldn't go into any dark attractions although he did enjoy dark restaurants? It too shall pass!

We ahve never dined at Le Cellier in over 30 trips to WDW. We plan on trying it next month finally!

Thanx for the reviews... you made me hungry:p

I just wanted to give a tip for next time if your daughter is still uncomfortable in darkness...

Try letting her pick her own light up spinny toy - anyone of the million styles they sell at Disney... and let her only have it when you go in somewhere dark..

I found this a good tool - my nephew was BEGGING to go into dark places just so he could have it and earlier he wanted nothing to do with anywhere dark.

Cool idea >>^..^<<, my siter brought litle mini mag lites for her kids on our first trip.

Great Rebviews! Ohanas is one place I would like to try on my next trip. We also enjoyed Chef Mickeys and Le Cellier.

Thanks for the great reviews. I think I've gained about 5 pounds reading them.

Must be something about Le Cellier...when we ate there on our last trip, our DD (then age 4) was also a "monster". I loved your review, I'm looking forward to Chef Mickeys and O'Hana.

Great reviews.... A+ for trying lots of sit down places with the children. DD 10 DS 6 have been going to sit down meals for years and it does get better. We still have melt down time at dinner sometimes, but not as often. The kids all time favorite is CM

Thanks for the great reviews--they were very helpful!
