We just got back about 45 minutes ago. I'm not going to do a big report, but here are the highlights of our trip.

It was 80 degrees in Orlando when we left this afternoon and it is about 20 degrees here in Detroit - what a difference a few hours makes!

We had a great time. We arrived on Saturday, 2-12-05, and stayed three nights at the Boardwalk Inn. First time staying there and we LOVED it. We had dinner Saturday night at BOMA and it was fantastic. It was our best experience yet at Boma (we've been there three times). We went to the Magic Kingdom on Sunday morning. Walked on to almost everthing, including Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain RR, Pirates of the Caribbean and Mickey's Philharmagic.

Monday morning we did the Segway Tour. This is the most fun we have ever had at WDW. It was just fantastic. :Pinkbounc My 18 year old son was VERY surprised when we arrived for the tour. I was a little nervous, but we all caught on quickly and we just LOVED it. I can highly recommend. Worth every penny!

Again, we had short lines - even Test Track was only 20 minutes. My son and husband did Mssion Space - 15 minute line.

In the afternoon, we went to MGM and did Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster. ToT was about 15 minutes and RR was about 25 minutes.

The weather in Orlando this week was the best. :sunny: Warm and sunny - beautiful. We had a very good time.

We went over to Universal for a couple of days and now we're home. Back to work tomorrow!! Oh well, what can you do?

If anyone has any questions, I will try to answer.

Thanks for the info - tell us more about the Segway Tour!

Did you get a chance to travel around the World Showcase? :cool1:

Glad you had a great time!

Yes, we had an hour in the World Showcase after training for an hour. We were on the 9:30 a.m. tour, so people started entering the World Showcase during the last half hour of our tour. We were quite popular. Everyone is quite taken with the Segways!!!

The Segway is an amazing piece of equipment. It responds to your body movements. If you lean forward it speeds up, if you lean back, it slows down. It was such fun.

Glad you had a wonderful trip - the Segway Tour was the highlight of our trip, too !! :smooth:

Tell me more. How do you go about signing up for the Segway tour and how much is it??..smjj

Glad to hear you had a great trip and got to do the SEGWAY Tour! Good for you! :cool1:

This is a great tour, especially if you are into high-tech gadgets. There isn't as much info given as you would get on a KKTK type tour but getting to ride the SEGWAY HT around the WS is an exciting experience!

smjj: The tour is $80/person for 2 hours: 1 hour of training and 1 hour in the park. However, you can get a 15% discount using AAA or AP. Just let the CM taking your ressie know at the beginning of the phone conversation that you would like the discount. You get a nice commemorative pin at the end of the tour.

Here we are in the WS:
