It was very hot and humid, it rained a bit Saturday around 4:30 or so, just as I was leaving AK and then again Wednesday night but I was already eating at the Rose and Crown and then a bad storm when I left on Thursday, which delayed my flight for an hour.
.
It was a great trip, lines were not too bad, MK was pretty packed on Saturday, but that was to be expected. I went to the second Spectro parade, it was still crowded but I got a good seat near the castle hub, only about a 1/2 before the parade started. I was walking from Fantasyland to the Haunted Mansion when the fire works started, I walked over to Liberty Square where the riverboat dock is and had a great view of the fireworks.
.
Most of the time the attractions had wait times of 5 or 10 minutes, the rides in Fantasyland were usually longer, 25 minutes or more, but I used fast pass. Buzz light year had a long wait as well, but again I used fast pass. Since part of the Tower of Terror was down there was always a long wait. I got there around 3:00 or 3:30 on Sunday and all the fast passes were gone and a 25 minute wait time was posted. I went on any way, and the wait was just over the 25 minutes. The only time the posted time was way off was at the jungle cruise, there was a 15 minute posted time and it was nearly 25 minutes, but I think that this was due to them adding more boats.
On my last day, Thursday I was dissapointed that a lot of the fast pass machines were not open, the Jungle Cruise had a 25 minute wait posted and no machines at all were open. Neither were the machines at Buzz light. Only 2 machines were open at Winnie the Pooh and again there was a 25 minute wait posted. There was only a 5 minute wait at Space Mountain and all the machines were open there. So it was a bit confusing sometimes.
.
I was surprised at the amount of families with young children, mostly pre school age, maybe a bit older. I guess this is a good time of year for them to go, since it is not as hot as the mid summer and you do not have to worry about anyone missing school yet.
.
I looked for lime green ribbons or the paint swatches from Home Depot, I had mine on my back pack, but did not see a one. Oh well maybe next year.
