Hi all, I just wanted to tell everyone what a great time we had. The first part of the week we found parks to be quite empty. We did not do any EMHs in the AM or PM. We followed ***************** suggested best days for the parks and it worked great for us. We had great weather high 70s and low 80s. :Pinkbounc We got so much done in the parks on our first days that when the crowds came we spent the mornings in the park and afternoons at stormalong bay. :woohoo:

We stayed @ the BCV in a 1 bdrm rm 248 with an tree/epcot view. Lots of nights we watched illuminations from our balcony. Mousekeeping was great and DD even got a towel teddy bear. :yay:

We ate at the following restaurants Electric Umbrella, WCC, '50s Prime Time, Casey's corner, columbia harbour house, Sci fi, Flame tree, (Medievil Times),Cantina, Chef Mickey's, Hurricane Hanna's, San Angel Inn, Pizza planet, HDD, The Plaza, Spirit of Aloha and Yakitori house. We were not on the dining plan. Many of the menus seemed to have downsized in offerings and portions. We found the hamburgers that we ate to be extremely well done and tasteless. Our DD7 had no problem finding food to eat only on one occasion did we have to order her an adult CS meal because she did not like the kids choice. Over all service was greatand food excellent, except for Mexico which was really slow and the meal was just O.K.

As for Disney Magic in some ways I wish I didn't know so much about what could happen as every where we went I kept wanting something to happen everytime I saw a dream maker. We say lots of Dream FP, lanyards and a few ears. DD had a few magical moments at FOTLK and the pirate tutorial. pirate: On out next to last day @ MGM we walked by star tours and the wait was only 10 min so we decided to ride, well what do you know a dreammaker walks in and gives out dream fast passes. I must say it was very exciting. Also, on our last day as we were leaving to go home we stopped in the shop as you exit epcot by the IG. DD got a candy bar and a pin, and as DH is about to pay the CM asks DD if she wants to play a game, and asks her to name 3 Disney movies. No problem. Then Cm gives her a Magical moments cert. and wraps up our purchase,w/o Dh opening his wallet and sends us on our way. It was a fantastic way to end the trip.

Sorry this got so long, but I know so many people are going in the next few days, and I would be happy to help anyone out if I can. :cloud9:

Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. How nice of disney to pick up the tab at the store. That is the kind of reward I would like.

Temps were great being from Wisconsin. High 70s and low 80s. First 2 days we had to dodge a few sprinkles and the night of the 14th it poured no Osbourne lights for us. We heard they cancelled them, I don't know if that was true. The rest of the time it was partly sunny to mostly sunny. We even came back with a little color in our cheeks. Which was a first for us. Weather wise it was our best trip ever.
