Coronado Springs Resort is beautiful and quite large. We were in Casitas 5 and it was quite a hike to El Centro and Pepper Market. Check in was smooth and without problems. CM Adam was amazing especially since by the time I arrived I was so tired and frustrated I was in tears (airline problems). I thought food in the Pepper Market was good with generous portions. It is too small for a resort this size. The pools were great and very refreshing though busy. There were a lot of conferences going on while we were there. This is my main complaint: The Laundry. Change machines were empty or out of order the entire time. Dryers took minimum of 2-3 $2.00 "cycles" to get clothes even almost dry. Over all though a positive experience.

Welcome back! Thanks for sharing!! I've read that before regarding the dryers.

I was at CSR week of Memorial Day and we were in Ranchos 7B. I used the laundry room and did not experience these issues. My two loads (small loads) were dry with one cycle. I had my own detergent and dryer sheets. One change machine was out of order, but there was another one that worked. Casitas 5 is a bit of a hike to El Centro. We stayed in Casitas 4 on our previous visit and we wanted to be convenient to the Dig Site this trip. I didn't notice too many conventions the week we were there, maybe because Monday was a holiday. I used the business center once and there did not seem to be anyone using the meeting rooms. Overall, CSR is terrific in the mod category. The transportation is the best of all the values and mods.

Glad to hear you had a good time. I never used the dryers at CSR last year. However, I had the same experience at CBR. My clothes did not dry well at all, I finally hug them around the room to dry!

Welcome back. Glad you had a good trip. Thanks for the heads up on the dryers and the change machines.

We've stayed at C twice. We always give a resort a second chance. Either it's a hike to the main lobby/restaurant or a hike to the good/big pool. The stuff they used for landscaped used to (I hope it changed) smell like cat piss.

The rooms were fine, it was the amount of walking. Once time we were so exhausted we flagged down a cm on a golf cart to beg for a ride.

The resort was beautiful. My kids loved the pool. We were part of a Grand Gathering and they had us on the same floor within a couple of rooms of each other. The busses were very convenient and the longest we waited for one was 20 minutes. We only had to stand once on the bus. Really the only complaint I had was about the laundry room. The Pepper Market was very busy each time we were there but we were always seated quickly. It did take 15 minutes for a fajita order but that is quicker than in a sit down resteraunt at home! Would I go back to CS? Yes!!

Resort Dryers - do not fear - they all seem to work the same no matter where you stay. :lmao:

Rules of thumb:
1) Do not place anything in the dryer which can shrink
2) Use the highest drying setting
3) Expect to run the dryer at least twice
4) Expect it to take you at least an hour or two to do a family of four people's laundry after 5 days at WDW (depending on how many washers and dryers are available)
5) Bring your cell phone, guide book &/or resturant reviews with you when you do laundry to make any additional ADR's your family may wish to do

The above applies to any WDW resort.
We have stayed at the Dolphin, Wilderness Lodge and Contemporary.
Deluxe. Moderate or Value - all have the same brand washers and dryers.

I find most the dyers do that
last yr at the BC and GF I had run them thru 2 times and they werent that full
