My biggest tip for this resort is to call three days before your arrival and request the Martinique or Trinidad North building. Otherwise it is a long walk to the main pool and food. We stayed in Martinique and it was very convienen.t It is a beautiful resort and we miss it already!

Thanks for the tip. We will be staying there for the first time over Thanksgiving. When booking our reservations I requested one of those two. We are arriving very late (flight arrives at 10:30 pm @ MCO) and I am afraid our request won't be honored. All we can do is wait and see.


We are so anxious for 11/18 to come. We are in desperate need of a vacation.

You were very fortunate to get Martinique. Martinique and Trinidad North are preferred villages costing $15 extra nightly. If it is a busy time of year I doubt you would get those locations. Jamaica is across the lake and is a short walk away from the food court and main pool.

it seems like my friends and I are the only people in the world who don't feel CBR is "soo huge" and hard to get around...
on our last trip we were in Trinidad South and walked to OPR several times a day no problem. the walk was quick even in the middle of summer in the afternoon and it was short to us. It was so pretty we had no problems...
and we NEVER had problems with the buses. We couldn't have ever waited longer than a little under 15 minutes for a bus in the middle of summer, with the resort busy...Maybe we are just not complainers like most people or we are just happy to be at disney that we dont' care...just seems like so many people have such petty ridiculous and wrong ideas about CBR...
FI and I loved it SOOO much that it is where we are staying for our honeymoon in a few weeks.

I never said it was so hard to get around. I was simply stating that it is more convienent to stay in the closer buildings. I loved the resort and would stay there no matter what building!

Just got back from CBR and had requested Jamaica or Aruba several times in the months prior to our trip, not wanting to pay the $15 per night add'l for Martinique or Trin North esp. since we had 2 rooms. At check in we were assigned to Trin South and I was so mad. Not wanting to be there, we asked if we COULD pay the add'l $15 to be in preferred instead but there was no availability. They offered us rooms in Aruba, but they would be 'smoking optional' rooms and we are non-smokers. We ended up taking the Aruba rooms figuring years ago there was no smoking/non-smoking division and we didn't think twice about it then. I did smell it on the first day and I didn't really like it but then I kind of got used to it and forgot about it! Glad we got in Aruba. Trin South is just too far from OPR.
