Hi everyone! Just back from our stay at the BWV and VB. I managed to post some info about VB and our "incident" with the break-in. So for this post, I will just briefly share our experience at the BWV. I LOVED it!! It was our first trip their as DVC members and it was terrific! We stayed in a studio preferred view of the boardwalk. Our room was clean and spacious....it was just DH and me. Check in was a breeze--we drove in from VB early and we checked our bags at 9am. Our room was ready at 1pm. We ate at Spoodles our first day and it was GREAT. We spent the majority of time at the quiet pool and it was my favorite!! It was practically empty and very relaxing.
I found the entire staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We were "welcomed home" and I loved that part.
We had those delish napoleons at the Boardwalk Bakery and I was in HEAVEN!!! I didn't know that the food was soooo good out there.
Just a little off the DVC topic, but DH and I managed to ride the new "aladdin" ride at the MK. It was THE BEST! Kinda like dumbo as faras rides go, but for an aladdin freak like me, it was a dream come true. I think I used a whole roll of film just for that ride! LOL!!! I must have bought out the entire store too.
DH and I managed to visit the DVC office and say hello/meet our guide, Julie Hughes. She was SOOOO nice! It was great to meet her in person and she gave us a tour of the other vacation homes and I LOVED the one bedroom with the tub. I know where we'll be staying next time! And we also got some cotton candy and taffy. It was so fun. I just love being home.
Does anyone have specific questions? I didn't want to bore anyone to death with details!!!
