Just back- both the Poly and GF installed hand-held shower heads in our rooms!

DS is disabled (CP), and giving him a shower can be tough. Our TA requested a hand-held shower for the Poly (did a split stay), and maintenance had it installed within 15 minutes of arrival. We forgot to request it at the GF, but they had one in within an hour of check-in. They were Moen hand-held shower heads with 8 different settings. VERY NICE SERVICE!!!! It made a tremendous difference in bathing DS. I don't know if it is just the Deluxe resorts,but it sure would be worth asking for every resort. Hope this helps someone else. This was our 4th trip in 3 years, and I just read about this service a few months ago.

Makes me wonder though, why they are at some resorts and not at others? Just came back from CBR, and it was in there standard just like last year. Allthough, have to say, that were both accessible rooms with roll in shower. Didn't check out the other (standard lay out) room my companions were in. Downsides of those; would only be either hand hold or fit the holder wayyyyyy to high up the wall for anybody with any mobility disability. There were holders mounted to the wall at a lower height, but they were to close to the wall -> shower head wouldn't stay put.

we had requested HA room, but they were not available. In our HA room in April, it already had the HH shower. It was great for them to put it in a standard room for us this trip. I did not know they could do that.
