Just got home last night at 11pm in Bangor Maine. From my first ever DVC Trip. I Stayed at the BCV!! I LOVE that area! I requested a "High" room and an Epcot View, and that is EXACTLY what i got. Villa 544. Beautiful room, direct view of Epcot and perfect view of Illuminations.

Will follow with a trip report as soon as I can, Still trying to get my luggage!! :headache: :sad1:

excellent! I'm glad you had such a great time!

what size room did you have? We go next month and that is what I requested. :goodvibes

Greetings from a fellow Mainer! Glad you had a great time, we own BW and love that area also.
Looking forward to your trip report :cool1:

Glad you had a wonderful time!:goodvibes DH and I live in Portland now, but we both grew up in the Bangor area. We also love the Epcot resort area and have stayed at BWV twice and at the BC (not villas) once. It's easy to get hooked!

Good luck with your luggage! I'll be looking for your trip report!:thumbsup2

Glad your 1st "Welcome Home" was great:goodvibes

I had a studio. (It was connected to a one bedroom)

I still dont have the bags! , All my disney shopping and christmas shopping is in them!:sad2: I hope they come, they are telling me they are in boston waiting to come to bangor, the planes are too small to overload. Just curious, IF i never get them, does the airline pay to replace EVERYTHING?? all $1000- $2000 in the bags???? or they just riemburse you a base rate??? Thanks if anyone knows

Trip Report Day One-

I landed at MCO at 5:17PM went down to the magical express desk, I was in line about 2 min and it took less than that once i got to the desk. I was sent down to the BCV bus, and got on, I think there was about 10 people on my bus once it was all set to go.
We sat on the bus there at MCO for about 25 min before we left. the driver said that doesnt always happen, it didnt bother me at all, I was just happy to be in Florida, a lot of other people on the bus were unhappy, they had dinner plans and such i guess.
After we got going he said it would be 30 min to disney, I didnt time it, but i dont think it was that long.
We Stopped at the Yacht Club then the Beach Club (then he went on to Boardwalk and Carribean Beach)
I went in to the regular BC check in as it was after 6 pm.
I was first in line and it took about 5 min to check in (once the girl realized my reservation was for BCV and not the BC lol)
Went up to the room Villa 544 (Studio) and it was Much bigger than I had anticitpated. the balcony was also very large, I was very worried I would end up with one of those Tiny ones. The View was amazing!
I then headed over to Epcot for the last day of the Food and Wine to get a Maine lobster roll before they closed, i then watched the fireworks and came back and went to bed.
Day Two To Follow Later:)

$500 is all they paid. don't know if that is per bag or for everything.

hopefully they can send them by truck if nothing else.

that is just sad - you get back safetly - but your luggage has to wait.:scared1:

Hey! We were there at the same time! :)
So sorry about the luggage:headache: - that has happened to us, and it was because of a connecting flight between Ft Walton Beach and here(NJ). I was VERY diligent about writing and calling, and I got nearly about $2500 back from them (It was a BIG suitcase and I had also been shopping). I had to itemize EVERYTHING- every stinking sock, where I bought it, how long ago, and what it cost- oh, and what color it was. :) They did pay up, though. But it sounds like they know where yours is, so hopefully, you'll have all your Disney goodies before you even read this!

I am glad you had a great time on your first DVC trip at BCV. :goodvibes My first dvc trip will be in three weeks at bwv. I hope I my frist dvc trip will be like yours, my DH is not convinced yet if we made the right decision with joining DVC. :confused3

Good Luck getting your bags- :wizard: pixiedust:

Thanks for all your good luck Delta called and my bags are at the final airport in BANGOR MAINE!!!! They are going to deliver them to me tomorrow morning!!!!!! I am so so so happy lol, my disney shopping is very importent to me lol:cool1:

Yes I got them this morning, they had gone through them but all my disney shopping was there and in tact, I am going to try and do DAY TWO tomorrow nite,:)

Sounds great. We love the area that's why I bought at BWV.

DAY TWO - NOV 12Th

Got up to a beautiful sunny day with a beautiful view of Epcot, had breakfast in the room and then headed to Epcot.
Epcot was not crowded at all, I took picture of the giant christmas tree, and it was cool to see all the work they had done during the night to take down the food and wine festival stuff. I went to mouse gear, and did a few things there in future world then I got on the monorail and headed for the Magic Kingdom.
The contemporary project (whatever it turns out to be lol) looks like its coming along good.
The magic kingdom was beautifully decorated for christmas, all the decor on the streets and the huge tree up by the castle. I watched the show at the castle. I had never noticed that the charactors in the show move there eye lids and mouths, makes it look so much more real lol.
I saw the parade in the afternoon, and went to the hall of presidents, walked around and soaked up all the disney magic, the Magic Kingdom was definatly more crowded then Epcot, but there was no school down there that day either.
around 5 I took the monorail back to Epcot. I went and got supper at Sunshine Seasons (the best sandwich I have ever had! I had it almost everyday the rest of the trip lol) O I had luch at pinochios in fantasyland.
I then walked around world showcase, went back to the BCV and then took the boat to MGM.
When I got to MGM it was dark, i think around 6. I went straight to the streets of America to see the Dancing lights. OMG They are SO AMAZING It was just so unbelievable how many they were and how they danced to the music, it was def very very magical. then I booked it over to Fantasmic and spent an unbelievable long time in line, Never done that before, we always get right in, it was so bad I almost got out of line, cuz i have seen it before.
The show was good as usual, then I took the Boat back to BCV and went to bed.

DAY 3 to follow. Thanks for reading
