Just back! Awesome stay at WL! Any questions?

Hi all...just back about an hour ago. Boo hoo! Our trip was Fantastic!! We stayed at WL, ate at Crystal Palace-O'Hana-Le Cellier-Rose and crown-mama Melrose's- Sci/Fi. DH booked a Wishes cruise as a surprise for my 30th b-day...one word. Incredible! I will post a longer review of the things we did, but just wondering if anyone has any questions. Weather was great overall. It rained horribly Tuesday but was nice all the other days. It did start to get HOT yesterday and today, but it was tolerable.

What was the boat transportation like to MK and the CR? We are going in two weeks. Our first night we are eating at CM. I've heard the boat to CR is crowded and takes awhile. Also we are going to MK our first day for the morning EMH and we not sure the boat will get us there early enough.

Do they still have a bus from WL to MK? We found that we liked the bus more than the boat due to the AC in the summer. I hope they still have it!

Are you going to post pictures?? Did you get a chance to ride EE? and lastly Happy Birthday! I heard the smoke on the cruise is sometimes intolarable. did you have any problems w/ that?

Glad you had a terrific trip, welcome back and happy birthday. How did you like the Illuminations Speciality Cruise? I have done that twice and have really enjoyed it. The capitan we had in the past ( Capitan Ron ) has been excellant with the knowledge and trivia he give during the tour prior to the start of Illiminations. Well welcome and and now time to start planning again.

1. The boat transportation was pretty good. We never used it really early in the AM, but we never had to wait more than 5-7 minutes for a boat.

2. Yes! We actually preferred the bus to MK. It took just about 5 minutes, with no stops, and was cool and empty. That was definitely the way to go to get there quickly.

3. The Wishes cruise was the best night of my life! DH surprised me, mom, and aunt. We were so scared as we're not too fond of boats. It was all decorated with a "Happy Birthday" banner and balloons. We had a scrumptious chocolate cake and champagne. Our captain was Michelle and she was so nice. She gave us lots of Disney info and took us past the infamous "shoe tree." The smoke was fine...I think I read that the Illuminations one is worse for that. Speaking of Illuminations, we couldn't even see some of the effects near the end b/c of the smoke. We sat near Germany. I don't remember it being that bad.

I did not ride EE and I'm kind of sorry I didn't. I made DH ride first and was going to see if he thought I'd be scared! When we were going to go back, it was HOT and FP were gone.

For some reason, we never saw the boat to CR! I know it was there last June when we went, but I didn't see it this time.

My birthday was AWESOME. I got so many Happy Birthday's from CM's and guests. I got a card signed by all the characters from CP, a birthday cupcake, and a Magical Moments certifictae, and the table sprinkled with pixie dust. At Le Cellier, I got a card signed by all staff and a special Happy Birthday dessert. The server was nice enough to box my cake from dessert to take home.
