What an absolutely fabulous trip we had. It was UNBELIVEABLE! We stayed 11 nights at All-Star Music, and were there for both grad weekends. A good few teenagers around but hardly noticed them. The weather was fantastic, it rained one night at the close of MK and one morning while we were there. Starting to look into next year's trip in the next few weeks. Thanks to all for the advice and tips. Planning is the only way to go in order to fully enjoy the experience.

Have a magical day!

Welcome back, Rhonda. Sounds like you had a magical trip. Will you be writing a trip report?

Our trip was truly magical! I've never written a trip report before but I may give it a try. In the planning stages now for a trip again next year. Wish I was still there! It is truly the happiest place on earth!

Glad you had a great time!

Tell me about ASmu if it's still on topic. Did you have any children with you? If so, how did you tour the parks with them?

TIA!

Welcome back. I know what you mean about planning for next year, I don't go till the end of the month and I'm trying to plan next years trip.

Jomrog, my DBF's two children travelled with us, ages 11 (yoG) and 14 (yoB). We stayed in the Calypso building at ASMu. We stayed in building 1 with a room on the end facing the pool and very close to Melody Hall. And I can honestly say I have not one bad thing to say about the room, the resort or the CM's who work there. You will always hear that the rooms are small at the All Stars, I didn't find them constricting, and as well the only time we were in our room was when we were sleeping! I would go back there in a heartbeat. The transportation system is fantastic, the longest we waited for a bus was 15 minutes, and that only happend twice in the 11 days we were there!

When we toured the parks, the first couple of days we left early, usually there by 9:30 (early for us anyway!). We always took a break in the afternoon and went back to the resort for a rest and a swim. Once rested we headed back to the park for the evening. If you are staying on site, I definately recommend the mid afternoon break. The heat and the walking will make everyone tired and you will not enjoy your time there as much. And if possible break up your stay by visiting a waterpark. Visit the parks for a few days then head to a waterpark for a day. That day at the waterpark or a day at your resort will revitalize you and give you the energy for the rest of your vacation!

I hope this answers your questions!

That's exaclty what I wanted to hear. We have stayed in dlx & mod but never value & if I want to get there this year, we will have to try value.

My DH is picky about where we stay so I want to make sure it will be okay. I know that my kids will love the Allstars, how can they not?

I'm glad that the transportation was good, too. I honestly had never had a problem w/Disney transportation so it's good to know that the service is as superior at the value resorts as well as others.

Keep us posted about your next trip!!
