Just back and very full

Hi everyone,

We just got back from 5 days of the dining plan. I can't believe the amount of food we had. Everything was wonderful. Here is where we ate:

LeCellier
Primetime Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern (character dinner)
Crystal Palace (character breakfast)
Coral Reef

What was your experience with the Crystal Palace character breakfast? Was the variety & quality of food good? Now noisy did it get during your meal? Did people seem happy to be there?

We really liked the Crystal Palace. The food included the basics (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, fresh fruit, baked goods) but also specialty items like breakfast lasagna, puffed french toast, made to order eggs, omelets and pancakes. All of the food was fresh, hot if necessary, and delicious.

The characters stopped at every table for a few minutes, more if you had children with you. Our ADR was for 8:05 so the restaurant wasn't overly noisy. I don't know how bad it would be later on.

I'll be going to Le Cellier for the first time this November. What did you enjoy there?

I had the cheese soup with pretzel bread (my favorite), the mushroom filet with cream cheese mashed potatoes instead of risotto, and the creme brulee sampler for dessert. The steak was of good size ( maybe 8 oz) and cooked to perfection. My husband and I love this restaurant. THe setting is very intimate and cozy. HOpe you enjoy it.

Ah, thank you! Our ADR is for 8:15, so it shouldn't be much different than your experience.

One more question, if I may: did you notice if the made to order eggs included fried, or was it just omlettes?

You could get fried eggs at the Crystal Palace breakfast.

The following characters were are LTT: Minnie, Goofy,chip and dale. The character interaction was great considering we didn't have any kids with us.
