Hello,

We just got back from our very first trip to DVC. I booked a one BR villa at BWV on short notice (3 days) and we LOVED IT!!!!

We arrived sat afternoon at 1 pm and checked in not expecting to get a room. At check in I asked the CM if there were any boardwalk rooms available???? She looked in the computer for a minute and told us that not only is there a boardwalk room available but it was on the 5th floor and it was ready for us to occupy!!!!!!! ISN'T THAT GREAT?????????

What a view!!!!! We were on the Jelly Rolls side of the resort with SE shining in our windows. The view of the fireworks was fantastic.

My 5 year old son loves the water slide (I had fun too) and the community hall was very unexpected. My son was able to make a Halloween glider and decorate his own canvas bag. He loved it.

We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner on sat night on a walk up and only had a 15 minute wait at 6 o'clock at night. WOW!!!! What a great meal, well worth the $70.00 bill w/ tip included. My son once again loved it and me and my wife loved watching him.

My only negative obsevation is the obvious neglect of the building and grounds. The building is very ready for the restore that is taking place. The pool area is filthy. The tile on the pool was really gross, moldy and mildewy. The patio deck is in desperate need of a pressure wash. There was a puddle full of algae and mold that looked like it has been there for a month. GROSS!! Everyone was walking around it with a sour look on their faces.

Besides the minor imperfections we had a fantastic time on our first trip with our points. Even though we were only there for about 26 hours we feel like we have been gone for three days.

THANK GOD WE FINALLY JOINED THE CLUB!!!!!!!!

I'm glad that your trip went so well and that Disney magic is still alive. Hopefully you mentioned to the manager the condition of the pool and surrounding area? I have to admit that the algae would gross me out. We pool hopped to Luna Park in August the area was in good condition except for the scaffoding in some areas, so I can say it isn't like that all of the time.

We were in room 5003, 1 BR. The view was of the Y & B to the left, SE to the left center, trees direct center (fireworks at night), Eiffle Tower right center and the boardwalk to the right. I can't imagine the view being any better. We really enjoyed the fireworks and then watching the boardwalk activities from our balcanies.
