Whew, I'm used to off-season and this trip hit me like a ton of bricks. Travelers be warned, May is crowded and hot.
The past few times I have been was October, December and February and have gotten used to budgeting one day per park and being able still to see some attractions more than once throughout that time. Not the case this week. Examples:
AK - 10:30-5:00 - only had time for one showing of Lion King, lunch at RFC and stand-by on Kali and KS (by 1:00, FP for both was already sold past 5:00 when we had to leave for O'hana)
EPCOT - 10-6 - did not even see WS. Had time for MS, TT (both FPs), the Land, Imagination, and HISTA. Ate on the go. Dinner at B&C at 7p, 45 minute wait.
MGM - 8a-10:30p - was able to hit everything once except Indiana Jones and Star Tours. Lunch at SciFi with PS. Those without PSs were turned away at the door.
E-night - was able to hit every attraction open once but Philharmagic.
MK - 10a-10 - thank goodness for E-night since it knocked out most major attractions. Was only able to hit many attractions just once. Did not have time for JC, all of FL except Philharmagic, Toon Town, CoP, Tom Sawyer or Tiki Room.
TL - 5-10 minute waits on slides, not bad at all, but wave pool was CROWDED. I think I became more than one person's raft with the giant wave...haha.
Don't get me wrong, it was fun, but I will definitely stick to my off-season. I didn't even know PoC HAD an outside queque until this trip.
If you guys have any questions, please feel free to ask!
Oh, and we stayed at POFQ. It was completely booked!

We just got back last night and I agree that it was definitelt hot but I didn't find it all that crowded. We did everything we wanted but only once or twice waited in line more than 15 minutes. We got there when the parks opened and got fast passes then did other big rides until our fast pass time came around. I actually was shocked at how empty MK was on Memorial Day. We got there at about 4pm and we walked on many rides. We acturally small waits for Peter Pan and Pooh on E-night but everything else was walk-on. Someone told us they had only sold about 20% on available tickets for E-night. A CM also said MK had been slow all day. The only thing I could figure was everyone was afraid of a terrorist attack because the news kept talking about a potential attack coming. But we had a great time except for the heat.

hmm, MK was not crowded at all on Memorial Day? Everyone must have been at AK with me!

I know. We went to MGM that morning to purposely avoid MK on a holiday and it was busy but not overly so. Then we went to MK at 4 and were surprised. We had a front of the line pass and thought we weren't going to use it! (We did on they speedway which had a 30 minute wait.) It was great! Except again for the heat! We said next trip is going to be in January!!!!

But, keep in mind Memorial day was also a travel day for many, many locals:D

It is most certain to reach capacity this Saturday!

Thank you for your post. We are going in early July and we are ready to melt!::MickeyMo
