After a wonderful trip and stay at the contemporary I am really glad that I brought these with me !....

Dove refresher wipes. Felt so clean to use anytime at the parks. No more sticky fingers !

my cell phone- Those charges from the hotel rooms are terrible !

An empty coin purse. Always seem to have tons of change. Brought home all the leftover change and started my next disney trip fund !

More film than I thought I would use...and I used it !

And a large freezer bag with my used film to keep in my carryon for the plane so it wouldnt go thru xray.

My waterproof neck pouch. Used for everyones passes, cc, money.

A ziplock bag to put my camera in. Kept it nice and dry on Splash mountain even though I wasnt !

Extra pins for random acts of kindness. It was nice to help make a child's day (with the parents permission) when I gave them a pin for trading.

Im soooo glad I packed extra duffle bags in my suitcase because I brought home a lot of stuff ! :)

Thanks for the tips, Jiggerj! I like the one about the Dove refreshing wipes. Where did you find those?

I would also like to know where you found the Dove wipes...I think I got a sample in the mail before my last trip, and they were wonderful!! Loved being able to "refresh" in the midst of the humidity! I can't seem to find them anymore....:(

:p IVY :p

I think you can find them at any cvs, walgreens, riteaid pharmacy. They were a little travel pack size which fit perfectly in my backpack.

I tend to carry the small travel size baby wipes with us everywhere and those seem to work really well too... (only downside to some brands is the lint factor... check before you purchase big packs which work best for you). You can refill with the refill packs daily and you are good to go!

I like Lever 2000 wipes, but they have been impossible to find in my area
I can get them online, but I'm not paying shipping for $2 of wipes hehe.

I love the smell of lever 2000, and they are great in the middle of a long day.

Just wanted to add that I found Lever 2000 wipes at Target in the Travel section!!! I hope you find some there!! They are GREAT!

Just wanted to let you all know that I was successful in finding both the Dove refresher wipes ($1.99) and Lever 2000 wipes ($1.49) in 15 sheet travel packs at Big Lots!! I was so excited (I'm sure everyone in the store was quite interested in what was making me squeal with glee!) and, of course, stocked up for my upcoming (only 16 days!) trip!

Yippee! (at least I'll smell okay....;) )

:p IVY :p

Especially if you're an infrequent visitor, or traveling from another part of the country/world, bring allergy medicine. No matter what time of year you go, the World is beautifully landscaped and all those flowers mean pollen and other allergens in the air; it's entirely possible that someone in your group will be allergic to something. It is especially easy to forget the allergy medicine when it is the dead of winter where you are.

and started collecting...

fast food places give out the little handy wipe things...I've been getting 2-3 here and there for our trip-figured they would be good to have

thanks for the tips...especially the empty change purse one...I'll keep that one in mind...

I am in the final few days before my Disney trip and I am going through vacation paralysis. I know I have a lot to do, and I don't want to run around at the last minute doig everything, but I can't seem to think of what needs to be done.

I need to get, dish wipes for our refillable mugs, hand wipes or hand sanitizer, travel toothpaste.... does Shout! still make the stain wipes? They were great. Oh yeah! Sunscreen, that would be easy to overlook and I think we'll need it.

What else guys?

Shout wipes are in most grocery and "-mart" stores
have fun in the final count down scuffle :teeth:

I went to Food and Wine festival today and the thing that I was most happy to have with me was an insulated drink carrier with a strap. I could have a beverage with ice with me at all times without my hands being full. It can be hard to walk and eat (all of that good food at the F&W booths) while trying to balance an open cup.

I got this in New Orleans several years ago for Jazz Fest. It gets very hot and you have to have something cold to drink at all times. The strap is great. It comes with a straw with a cover to cap the straw.

We packed inexpensive nightlights and they were so handy! I always take them on vacations anywhere. Also, a couple of clip-type clothespins. They keep chip bags and curtains closed tight.

I love the clothespin idea - I can see them coming in very handy!

For a nightlight we take a glade plug in nightlight - inexpensive and serves two purposes. I keep it pluged into the outside bathroom area so it keeps things fresh and light! My girls like it becuase I use the same fragrance as at home and they feel more comfy in the hotel room.

I consider myself a terrific packer who remembers to bring a lot of things that others forget BUT I NEVER REMEMBER TO BRING NIGHT LIGHTS! Thanks for the reminder.

Collaspable clothes hamper.

Dollar bills and envelopes for Mousekeeping.

Printout of PS #'s.

Spray deoderant to keep feet dry and blister free.

Emergency cards for the kids. Who Mom and Dad are, where we were staying etc...
