Just back and ate at Ohana, 50s PTC, Biergarten, & Tony's....

No long reviews here (I know we have a forum for that) but I just wanted to report that I ate at all these places last week and every meal was very, very good! If anyone has any specific questions I'd be happy to try to answer them.

Well it was my 2 teenage daughters and me and one of them wasn't very hungry, so we decided to get 2 appetizers and an entree and share everything. We had the calamari appetizer and the fried zucchini appetizer. We had them leave off the olive relish from the calamari...it just didn't sound good to us. It came with a marinara sauce for dipping. Not too bad but we didn't use it much. Instead we used the sun-dried tomato sauce that came with the zucchini...it was very tasty! Both the calamari and the zucchini were done very well.

Then one of the girls and I split the shrimp scampi. It was different from any scampi I've ever had but it was very delicious...and very garlicky! If you enjoy garlic you will love it. It has a buttery sauce that's just a little bit creamy, and it's tossed with pieces of asparagus and sun-dried tomatoes. I would definitely order it again if I were to go back.

We intentionally stayed away from anything with tomato sauce because of some scary things we had heard. Again, it wasn't terrible but if the marinara with the calamari was any indication we made the right choice...just not much flavor there. Hope this helps!

How was O'Hana? What time did you go?

Ohana was wonderful! It's my favorite restaurant in all of WDW and I have never been disappointed. I've read some negative reviews lately but my experience was amazing as always. Only the pork was a little bit dry...everything else was delicious!

Our reservation was for 8:40 but we decided to go early and give it a shot. Got a little bit of Disney magic because even though they were packed they were able to get us a table at about 7:20.

Chicken. It was really good with the different sauces on it. But the appetizer wings were LOTS better! I probably ate 8-10 of them.
