Just back, AKL, MVMCP, etc...

We had the most magical vacation possible. Low crowds (12/9-12/15), excellent weather, only had to use FP twice the entire time (for Phil and Pooh on Friday afternoon).

MVMCP with Wishes was the highlight of the trip. (Or maybe the highlight was the upgrade to savannah view at AKL, hmmm). The snow on Main Street, the Decorations, the Xmas Parade, Wishes---I would recommend planning an entire vacation just to experience this...it was worth the trip.

My greatest secret...go to the parks in the rain!! We stuck ponchos on us and the kids and walked on to just about everything. It only rained til about noon, and even then MK was basically walk-on's (longest wait was 10 minutes for Pooh). So many attractions are indoors anyways. We spent a rainy morning at MGM and came across 8 or 9 characters. No one else was around, so my sons had them all to themselves. Can't wait to see those photos. After about 5 minutes, some other poncho wearers found us, so we moved on. Priceless!!!

Oh yeah, AKL savannah - heaven!! Sounds like a great vacation! I'm planning a few days next Dec just for MVMCP and CP - and of course the decorations! Which night did you go to the party and how were the crowds?

We went on Thur 12/11 and it's hard for me to comment on the crowds since this was our first MVMCP. We didn't have any real lines to wait in for rides, but the lines for the picture and cocoa were quite lengthy.

We started sitting on the curb in main street about 45 min before parade time (8:10). The members of our party took turns sitting while others rode stuff.

The snow is awesome and wishes is spectacular. We even got to see wishes again the following Saturday.

We had minimal difficulty leaving the park--no big pedestrian traffic problems.

All in all, a wonderful night (chilly, but still warmer than home!!)
