Just back after 7 days...the good and the not-so-good:

We had dinner at Garden Grill Saturday night. It was DH's birthay and I asked upon check-in if I could order a cake for him. The CM said no problem. When dessert time rolled around along came our server, two other CMs and Mickey. They sang to a very embarassed DH, then Mickey took a spoon from our table and scooped a spoonful of icing from the cake. He made as if to feed it to DH, then plopped it right on DH's nose! The boys absolutely howled! They thought it was SO funny (it was)!

As for dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed it. (They did not charge me for the cake, either.) Of course, Gail, with three little ones still at home, we're used to eating with the roll of paper towels nearby...LOL! I do think the tables are a bit small for all the "stuff" they put on them at one time, but we managed. We will definitely do this one again!

ptrbryant - glad to hear you managed to have a good time despite the pollen problems! I've noticed, but it hasn't been too bad for us, more of the stuffy nose at night/hard to sleep type stuff for me. We go home Thursday, and I'd rather have the stuffy nose than the cold and snow...LOL

I remember the days with little ones and paper towels near the table, they are a have to have, but, now I am past that stage and really did enjoy the way it was set up before. BUT, times change and things change and that makes Disney a very enjoyable place for all. I have found other venues to experience the table cloths and linen napkins. :) If I had little ones this would probably be on the "have to do list". Oh, btw, I just LOVE Chef Mickey's. :)

The pollen was really sort of heavy, noticed it on the car. The ironic part is my nose is far far more stuffy at home than it ever is in FL. Maybe someone is telling me something. :)
